I intend to report this company. There is a mango seed butter label on the front of the package. Shea butter is listed on the back of the label. I have never purchased another mango seed butter or shea products like this before. Raw or refined, the product is unlike anything I have ever used. There is too much oil in the product and it smells strongly. Be sure to read reviews before you buy. It is not the first time this product has triggered such a problem.

There is either chemical or refinement involved in the preservation of this shea butter. A 5 month old boy I have bought it for has been using it as of late. Although I was excited to receive it and intended to buy cocoa butter as well, I felt ill as soon as I used it for the first time, and it could be felt all over my body and in The amount I used was just a pee size, thanks to the Lord. A few days later, I opened it up and I was not myself again for several hours. It also made my eye feel the same. The item has to be returned to the store. There was a slight aroma of palm oil in this, so I believe it is refined. Additive used to alter the appearance of shea so it appears Aside from being very soft and oily, it is also very thick. My roots are in the West African continent, which is no stranger to oils such as palm and shea butter.

It has an odd odor. I love the look of the mango butter and that it cuts easily, but the smell is so strange. The scent of it is NOT like mango at ALL, such as what another reviewer wrote. The smell doesn't smell like mangoes at all, I don't know if I have a bad batch or what, but if you are expecting it to smell like mangoes you will be You can count on me!.

I am not sure why there are negative reviews on This company is wonderful. I am so glad that I made the decision to use them. My wife is very sensitive to the smell and has multiple dermatological allergies, so I purchased this for her. There is no smell to be found She says, however, that she smells a hint of mango nutty, if I understand her correctly. This butter is very light and was sealed in a plastic package with a vacuum seal, then placed in another ziplock bag to protect it Besides being USDA certified, the product also features a premium price. We are grateful to Mary Tylor Naturals for creating such a great.

It was absolutely amazing to use this Shea butter. It was exactly how I expected it to be in color, texture, and smell! This has already been used in a batch of activated charcoal soap roses and it was perfect. I will definitely buy this again.
