Pro: Cosmos pure gloss is one of my favorite things in the world. When I wear it, I always get compliments on it because it goes with everything.
Con: I'm not a fan of the wand they started using a few years ago. It's difficult to achieve a good lip line, and it's goopy. To summarize, it is necessary to wipe out the top on a regular basis, resulting in product loss. The product is great, but the wand is terrible.
It's more of a MEDIUM plum than a DARK plum. It appeals to me.
I've been using JI gloss for over ten years, and it's always been boxed but never safety sealed, whether I bought it from Amazon or Dr. Office.

I've been buying Jane Iredale lipglosses for a long time. This one broke because the seal was broken, and it's now a gooey mess when I try to use it. When I contacted Amazon, they refused to send a replacement because it had been more than a month since I had received it. I only used about a quarter of a nearly $30 lip gloss. When purchasing cosmetics from Amazon, be cautious. I could have easily gotten a replacement if I had purchased it from a beauty supply store.
Cosmo is a tad pinker and less glittery, but otherwise they're very similar shades. This gloss is one of my favorites. It has a slightly thicker consistency, which I prefer, and it lasts a long time. Both shades have enough pigment to be worn on their own, but not so much that they can't be layered with lipstick. It has a light lemon scent that reminds me of a slice of lemon pound cake, which I enjoy. I also like how slim the tube is, which makes it a great gloss to take with me when I don't want to carry a purse because it doesn't feel bulky in my pocket.
Basically, it's a clear lip gloss with a sprinkling of glitter. Within 30 minutes of application, the mica sparkles have splattered all over your face. When rubbing lips together, sparkles feel irritatingly like grains of sand. br>It was given back to me. br>I'm sticking with Beach Plum for now.
First, I purchased the sugar plum shade, which is quite pink and stands out well on my fair skin. It's a cute pink color that complements my skin tone, but I think I'll save it for special occasions when I want a more lipstick-like look. like a look that draws attention to my lips by defining them. br>I then went out and bought the Pink Candy color. It's a lot lighter, and it barely shows up on my lips. It also has a mauve tone to it, which I didn't expect based on the color's name and online image. It also appeared to have less lip gloss inside, so I'm starting to think these lip glosses are a rip-off. I'm willing to pay a premium for high-quality natural products, but these aren't made entirely of natural ingredients. This gloss has a very pleasant flavor and smell to it, and it has a very sweet fruity scent to it, in my opinion. Both of the ones I got have a candy scent to them, which I really like. Overall, after this ordering experience, I think these glosses are ok, and better than most, but not worth this much money, which makes ordering online very discouraging because you can't see what you're getting.
This lip gloss, in my opinion, is way too expensive. It's packaged in a very small tube. It only contains a small amount of product. Also, the cap is very cheap; it doesn't twist on well and feels like it will break if I apply too much force when screwing it on. The gloss itself is decent; it has a thicker consistency and is a little stickier, which I don't mind because it isn't too goopy. I chose the shade Cosmo, which looks more like a berry on my lips. I expected it to be more mauve/nude in color. The pictures on here definitely do not represent the actual product; a lipgloss like this from other brands costs anywhere from $10 to $20. I'm not sure what makes this so special that it costs $30 after taxes.
Because I live in Florida, there are no fall or winter seasons, so I enjoy it. (It's also the only makeup I use. ) However, I wish they hadn't changed the flavor because it was minty before. Now for the lemon. While I enjoy lemon, I prefer the taste of mint, and you do need to reapply it frequently, but it is a lip gloss. (This is why I gave it four stars. ).
This is something I've been using for a few years and I really like it. It's a little gooey, but that's fine with me. It stays in place and looks fantastic! I understand it's pricey, but the last tube I had lasted more than a year. I tried Kir Royale and a peachy color that I can't recall the name of. They're both lovely and long-lasting; I just got the Very Berry today and it's fantastic!.
This was my first Jane Iredale purchase, and my primary goal was to find a gloss with mostly natural ingredients that also matched my lip color. This is a good one. (Kir Royale) It's a little stickier than other lipsticks I've tried, but I think that's because it stays on your lips longer. The color looks great on its own or as a base for regular lipstick.
