I like the way it feels; I don't eat it, but if you get a whiff of it, you'll think it's peppermint. I just bought 5 shades for Christmas gifts for my friends, including peony, and I'm tempted to buy more for myself! I own two shades, fig and rhubarb, which are essential for anyone with a tan. It looks good even in the winter. Almost any skin tone should be able to use it. I don't get dry lips when I wear it, and it lasts a long time even when I'm not eating. It's more durable than my other lipsticks, even if it does come off a little. I'm completely enamored with this! I don't wear a lot of makeup, but when I go somewhere, this will be my only companion! I'm doing this on my mother's account because I don't want to make her sound insane.
Burt's Bees is one of my favorite brands. Underneath your face masks, the peony lip shimmer is perfect. It doesn't smear or leave a stain because the color is so light. Long-lasting and comfortable to wear. It's something I'd strongly advise you to try.
This new one has different ingredients that I don't like, so I asked for a replacement on one of the five that was the older one, and I just got ANOTHER ONE. THESE ARE NOT MY FAVORITES!.
Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer has been a staple in my makeup bag for as long as I can remember. It feels wonderful and tingly on the lips, and the color I get, Peony, is very natural looking for my complexion (I have a very fair complexion and am almost translucent). I sincerely hope this does not go away! But, just in case, I keep a small supply on hand.
These lip moisturizers are fantastic and leave your lips feeling silky smooth. Whatever the reason, they soothe dry, cracked, and burning lips. They come in a variety of colors, but my favorite is the (Champagne Lip Shimmer) for everyday use, and the (Peony with Peppermint Oil Lip Shimmer) for special occasions. They also have a long lifespan.
What is the company's motivation for doing so? I wasn't able to leave it on for long enough to form an opinion.
I was expecting the "old version" of the peony chapstick in the photo, but instead received the new peppermint oil-infused version. The change bothers me, and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the product and my purchase. I wish I could go back to the original version because it was fantastic.
It has a great, cooling sensation thanks to the peppermint oil. They're probably half to a third the size of a regular tube of lip stick or lip balm, but they're TINY! To give you an idea, I snapped a picture of it next to my salt shaker.
