Food-grade plastic, made in the United States, with a sturdy premium construction that is non-toxic. Mary Tylor Naturals Toxic Containers
Hello there,br>It will be available again by the end of next week.
If you want to put a lipgloss in a 10 or a tooth with a brush applicator, look for a 10 or a small round plastic container with a brush applicator. Bees lip balms are much more liquidy and would run out of that as well, so look for a 10 or a small round plastic container with a brush applicator.
That's what I believe. They're nice, but they're too big to fit in my fill tray.
Selected User Reviews For 25 Clear Lip Balm Containers, Made in USA, Round Tubes, 100% BPA Free, with Clear Caps by Mary Tylor Naturals, for DIY Lipstick, homemade Lip Balm (25, Clear)
These lip balm tubes are high quality and hold exactly what they advertise; those who claim they don't hold the full amount of lip balm are most likely filling their tubes by eye rather than weighing them! Some lip balm tubes are slightly narrower and wind all the way down to the bottom. These are a little wider and only roll down about three-quarters of the way. They are, however, a standard size; I have been making lip balms for several years and have previously purchased inferior lip balm tubes. Those had flimsy caps that broke or cracked when the tubes fell, leaked, or were too small. These lip balm tubes aren't even close to being in the same league as those! The plastic is thick and a true glossy bright clear, not the cloudy, ugly ivory clear of others I've bought. I did discover that about a tenth of the ones I ordered had off-centered or tilted adjustment center winding rods, which you can see in the photos because we made a lot for my daughter's wedding. However, this does not appear to be the case, and they function properly, so I would not be concerned. There was no leaking at all for me! This is a brand that I strongly recommend.
Advertising that is deceptive. The tubes do not have a value of 0. 15 oz! The chapstick I made on the left is from the people I usually buy from, and it fills the container all the way to the bottom (0. Tubes (15oz). The tube on the right, which I bought from here, only fills up to 3/4 capacity! I'm too ashamed to give away a chapstick that's only 3/4 full. It would be a sham. I only gave it two stars because it was bpa-free and made in the United States.
These lip balm containers hold a lot less than I expected, but they don't leak and work perfectly. I am satisfied with my purchase in general. It's a lot cheaper to make all-natural lip balm at home than it is to buy $3 lip balm. Two tablespoons beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil, and thirty drops peppermint oil were used in this recipe. The ingredients were melted together in a mason jar filled with boiling water, and the mixture was pipette into the tubes using a straw.
Because they don't fully screw down, you can't completely fill them. They're also slimmer and shorter than the brand I've previously used, and they don't fit snugly into my lip balm filling tray. Melted balm splattered across my counters and tube sides as a result of this. Everything had to be remelted, the tubes had to be cleaned, and the tubes had to be refilled with a pippette. They are still dissatisfied with the pitiful sum they have. On the left, you can see a brand I've used before, and on the right, you can see Mary Tylor Naturals. I don't like the clear lids either; they're unappealing.
Because of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to purchase. The container appears to be partially filled due to the way it is designed. That, however, does not bother me. If you're selling homemade lip balm, you should say how much it weighs, and if you do, I don't see why anyone would think you're lying about the amount. I weighed the contents and found it to be sufficient. For me, 2 oz of product is sufficient.
2. Yes, the holder you can buy is only compatible with these lip balm tubes. I don't mind at all. However, I understand that this is a personal presence. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with these containers; they're of good quality, they do the job, and they're simple to fill. Customers who have purchased my lip balm have been very pleased.
Translucent seemed like a good idea to me. I had no idea it was a type of shrink flation, that the product goes slightly more than halfway down the tube, and that PEOPLE WOULD SEE IT. I'm annoyed that there isn't much in the tube, even for my own use. They are not something I will purchase again. I also received an email from the seller, which stated: Hello Customerbr>Just checking in to see if you're still enjoying the 50 Lip Balm Containers and that it's still working well for you: )br>We value your patronage and would like to express our gratitude once more. br>I find it offensive and arrogant to assume I'm in love with something that not only works well, but also continues to work well. Simply because of that, I would not purchase from them again. They claim to be a small business, which I support, but they don't come across that way. Don't overburden yourself with questions, and aim for a high score. The only advantage is that, even though they don't hold enough, they do what they're supposed to do: they don't leak. That is, after all, what one would expect.
Be careful who you buy from. I'm so glad I bought these with the intention of giving them away as gifts rather than selling them! These tubes can only be filled up to 3/4 full. When I filled them, all but five of them leaked! This is a terrible product, and I'm very disappointed! I bought these because they were made in the United States and were BPA-free!.
I adore the fact that they're made in the United States of America! It always makes me happy to be able to buy a high-quality, reasonably priced product made in my own country. This item, as well as any others made by this company, would be purchased again without hesitation. br>br>I bought these tubes to fill with herbal salve I made at home. It was my first tube purchase, and I wish I had chosen a larger volume tube, but that was my mistake and has nothing to do with the product; they feel well made, and I like how the cap clicks on and has a good tight fit while still being easy to remove. br>br>I would suggest investing in a filling tray (I did not-- What a pity!.
