A finely milled translucent powder like this will definitely help to hide pores, but if you have particularly large pores, I would recommend using a pore minimizing primer underneath your foundation and then setting it with this powder. I was a little hesitant to try this product because it is so white, and as a woman of color (WOC), I was worried about looking ashy. I'd seen a few other WOCs' reviews, but I still had my doubts. However, I've been a fan of this product since the first time I used it. It greatly reduces shine while mattifying the skin! It lasts a long time, as well. I put it on at 8 a. m. for my church slay, and after crying and sweating in worship, I still looked as if I had just put it on.
This . I'd give it one star if I had the option. This isn't even the real RCMA No color powder; it's just cornstarch mixed with whatever. The container had a crack in it, and powder was everywhere inside the plastic wrap on the outside. NOT in the manner in which the real RCMA manifests itself. Not only was there no damage to the top, but the "sealed for your protection" cover had been unsealed and was simply stuck in the lid's top. THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS IN THIS CONTAINER, WHICH MEANS IT MAY BE DANGEROUS, BUYER BEWARE. I've already received my refund, so this isn't a snarky remark; it's merely a factual observation.
This stuff is fantastic, and it's super fine. The finish is mate, but it isn't drying. It will last the entire day.
The seal was open and just stuck to the top when I got it. From then on, I should've known something was wrong, but I didn't notice and continued to use it. It must be some strange mixture because the powder in it isn't real rcma powder. Anywhere I use it, it casts a white shadow on my face. My creases are highlighted by it. This powder is fantastic for baking, and it's the only powder I've found that has moisturizing properties, which is fantastic. This substance is very powdery, similar to baby powder. As a result, it is easily transported. The scent isn't great, and it didn't work for me in the way I expected. It didn't actually reduce the amount of oil in the environment. Even after brushing it away, it leaves a white/pale/ghostly appearance on my face. This usually went away, but I still felt like it was robbing me of my color. The product's packaging is inconvenient because once you pour something out, it's nearly impossible to get it back in.
