I'm from Florida, and I don't want to wrinkle too soon! So I apply 110 sunscreen (gently, let it dry for a few minutes), then dab under eye concealer, gently rub it in, and then apply FIT me shade 122 on top of that. Then I use blush, eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara to complete the look. Unless I'm working, I rarely have to reapply powder. Later in the day, I'll be able to tell you more about it. Best of luck!
I tried this to replace Shine Free, which I had been using for a long time. It does not sit well with me. On my skin, it's always dry and cakey.

I'd had it with paying $35 for a face powder from Bare Minerals. I needed something that covered well, stayed put, and kept the oil at bay with little reapplication. Everything about FITme appeals to me! This is the latest addition to the line of products. It does exactly what it claims to do, which is to minimize pores and mattify the skin. It's not meant to be used as a foundation on its own, in my opinion, unless you don't mind having very light coverage and want to go for a "no makeup" look. Normally, I use it to set my undereye, chin, and in between my brows to create a mattifying, poreless look, as well as atop my nose to even out the look of my foundation, which can look cakey on my nose. br>br>All FITMe products have the magical ability to match man skin tones, and this one is no exception. When I first swatched the product, it appeared to be very light, and I was afraid it would make my face look ghostly, but once applied, it blends in perfectly with my skin tone.
Bubble wrap was used to protect the product during delivery. My four-star rating is due to the fact that my product arrived with the seal broken, but everything else appeared to be in good working order. There were no cracks in the mirror or product, and I had to order it online because my local Walmart never had any of the darker shades. /br>br>It's not that I dislike Maybelline; I've been using this line for a long time, but I've never been able to find the right powder shade. I took a chance and ended up finding it! If you don't know already, the powders run lighter than their corresponding foundations, so if 330 is the perfect foundation but the 330 powder makes you look ashy, 334 is the PERFECT match! (I apologize for the flashback in the photos; the products aren't particularly light. ).
My T- Zone gets oily by the end of the day, but I only have to touch up my nose once from the time I put it on until the end of the day, and I'm still bopping around, one more time. It's a lovely color, but I wouldn't choose it based on the color on your monitor. To be honest, you should see it in a store first because the color saturation and brightness of computer monitors varies depending on the computer and the user. br>br>I wouldn't have picked this color for myself based on the photo, but I saw it in the store and bought it. I was overjoyed to find a color that worked without having to go to a department store and pay a fortune for the perfect shade, which the girls behind the counters could never seem to get right. br>br>The pore coverage is silky and flawless, with a great matte finish that isn't too powdery. " I don't think I'll need any liquid with it, either. " Just finish my T- I'm good to go with zone coverage and a touch of contour. I really hope it doesn't go away. I can't stand it when I find a fantastic product and then go back to get more only to discover that it is no longer available.
I have no idea how good this product is, and I'm just commenting on how it arrived in this condition. Maybelline Matte powder was in a large box with some air pillows, and the container was Maybelline Matte powder. There were insufficient air pillows to keep it from banging around, and it arrived in this state: loose powder all over the inside of the box, as well as coming out of every seam of the powder box itself. This is not the way to make a good first impression with a purchase.
The powder itself is fantastic (translucent powder). I've had no problems applying it or having the color change my skin tone (I have olive skin). A small amount of powder goes a long way, and it only lasts a few hours at a time, so I have to reapply it every couple of hours or so. I wash my face three times a day (despite the fact that my skin is moderately oily, particularly in the t zone). It does reduce shine (but only for a short time), but it does not fill in pores. br>br>It comes with a small sponge pad and a mirror, but the case and the way it's laid out are terrible. Personally, I'd rather have a plain case without the sponge and mirror. I try to be very careful with it because the makeup is on a pivoting layer, which means that if you want to use the sponge/mirror, you have to flip the makeup layer up, and it gets annoying to have to flip and slap it around all the time. It's a little bulkier than I prefer because of the extra pieces. br>br>I'd give the powder four stars but only two stars to the case. Next time, I'll probably go with a different, more compact product.
The buff beige is darker and more orange than I expected, which is strange because I believe that's the same shade as the matching liquid foundation. br>br>Like the translucent, it goes on smoothly and doesn't require much reapplication, but I'm only oily on a few areas of my face, so baking tends to eliminate the need for reapplication in the future for me. Both shades, on the other hand, have a frustrating tendency to settle into the fine lines that are beginning to appear on my face. That's a bit of a bummer when it comes to baking. I do keep a matte finish, which is nice, but I'm not poreless. Not in the least. It works fine in areas of my face where there are no open pores, but if a pore is more open, it will settle right on top and act like a big ol' arrow to it, so I have to bake and possibly finish with another powder. However, it works fine for the rest of my face. If it wasn't orange, it would be a lot more interesting. But, I suppose, that's my fault.
