I'd go with the lighter option because it blends in nicely.
If you want a brighter glow, the Lumi is the way to go. I have dry skin, so I have to moisturize and prime my face before applying this to avoid my skin looking dry and patchy, but I used it because I like the matte finish. It blends in beautifully and provides a flawless canvas for your makeup.

Whether you're a light warm shade, a medium warm shade, or a dark warm shade, it all depends on your skin tone. If you're looking at this product, it'll help to go to your local drugstore and try to match along your jawline, or if you already use foundation, look up which shade best matches your skin tone and undertone.

So, I'm in my late 40s and I've never been a fan of foundation. Why is this so?
1. Most foundations, in my opinion, make you appear older than you arebr>2. They give you a fake or high-maintenance appearance. br>3. However, I prefer it when my skin is free. br> Age and vanity have forced me to admit that my face needs to be more balanced and finished. As a result, I went on the hunt for a natural and fresh foundation. This was a gamble for me. I wanted the W4, but Amazon only had the W2. I figured that, unlike most people, I'd rather look pale than darker (sunbathing has only given me wrinkles and moles, so no thanks), but what if the foundation turned me yellow or worse, orange? br>Well, I got this a couple of weeks ago and finally had enough hootspa to take a photo of me without any cream or make-up on and then a photo of me after. Although there isn't much of a difference, I prefer it. br>I never use foundation on its own; instead, I mix it with my cream, and even then? I think I'll apply a little more cream - A dewy look appeals to me more. even when wearing foundation So far? I really like this product; as others have stated, I wish it came in a larger bottle, but for $8 on Amazon Prime and the dime size amount I use, it's a steal. I figure I'll be able to pay $8 every two months! br>In addition, my skin is sensitive, especially around my eyes, and this foundation does not irritate my skin. br>Excellent purchase; if I can locate the W3, I'll order it, otherwise I'll get the W4 and W2. br>Oh, I received the "warm" variety - My veins are blue/green, so I figured that would be best; I'm of Irish, Italian, and German ancestry, so I'm fair, and I try to avoid the sun as much as possible (I also have Vitiligo - see below). In the sun, my skin cells quickly darken - making me look as if I'm covered in freckles - Fortunately, it isn't all over my face. )br>Best of luck, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
I took a risk, and it was well worth it! I used the color test to figure out which one I should go with, and it recommended 'Alabaster. ' When I first applied it with the brush, it streaked all over the place, but it smoothed out as it dried. It's well worth the small investment! I'm not great at makeup and was pleasantly surprised by the results; I'm sure you will be as well! I also purchased the setting powder, blush, and concealer, which I used in the photo.
To be honest, I'd have to say this is the best type I've ever used. I have combination dry and oily skin that is sensitive. This foundation is light and airy, and it's ideal for women who prefer a natural look rather than a cakey one. Thank you, L'Oreal, for making it easier for African American women to find their perfect shade! I've attached a photo for those interested in seeing what the color 'Classic Tan' looks like.
This was one of the first foundations I bought because I'm new to foundation. Some interesting facts about myself include the fact that I have extremely oily skin. br>br>For a variety of reasons, I'm not a fan of this one. To begin with, the coverage is far from complete. It's light or medium, if you want to be generous. I also used a couple of layers. Second, after a few hours, it began to cake and come off; I now realize that I should have used a moisturizer instead of applying it to my bare face. br>br>I did break out a little bit after that, which I wasn't happy about. br>br>I'll give it another shot to see if I made a mistake due to my lack of experience, but my first impressions weren't good.
My Indian skin is unusual in that it is neither too light nor too dark, nor is it "normal," making it difficult to find the right shade. Since everything else was "unnatural" for my skin tone, I've been using my mother's light-skinned foundation for a long time. I've looked at foundations at Sephora and Nyx, and anything darker than a light skin tone disgusted me, especially the ones that appeared to be a good match for my skin tone. I had the appearance of an orange! I was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too hesitant to buy this foundation, but MY OH MY IT BLENDED RIGHT INTO MY SKIN AND IT LOOKS LITERALLY PERFECT I DIDN'T THINK "SUNTAN" WAS "THE ONE" THESE COLORS ARE SO CORRECT I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!.
Soft ivory was the color I purchased. It has a lovely appearance and applies easily with fingers, a brush, or a sponge. It has a good medium coverage that can be built up. This is one of the most effective drugstore foundations available. This is fantastic for my dry skin. It doesn't cling to dry patches and gives my skin a smooth, natural appearance. This foundation doesn't accentuate my wrinkles at all, even though I'm 46 and have a few. Soft ivory was a little too dark for my fair skin, but I blended it down my neck a little and it gave me a healthy glow. A lighter neutral shade, n, was recently released. So, when I'm out of ideas, I'll try that. This gives me a natural-looking finish on my skin. It'll be difficult to top this foundation.
