Questions & Answers

I have read reviews that indicate this product is a knockoff. There appear to be a lot of fake reviews on this site. How do you feel about this?

Getting it from a variety of sources is possible, but, except for one time, it has been fake for me most of the time. The powder I bought from Bareminerals247 was of the worst quality, and I will no longer be purchasing powder from Amazon. I had problems with consistency when applying, the color was off, and it caused me to break out badly. Allcosmeticswholesale ended up being the place where I purchased mine. Buy it for $15 and ship it for free. We'll see how the site does after I've read blogs recommending it.

Are you sure this has the lock sifter with the click?

Although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "click with lock sifter", it is not just an empty container. You can see the powder is underneath the sifting insert, if that is what you're wondering. It may help to mention that I purchased this product both through Amazon and in-store There is an identical all-natural store and products at Bare Escentuals.

Does this serve as a foundation for you?

use this as my sole foundation, I apply the primer first, then I use my powder to set it. I have been using it for 15 years and enjoy it very much.

If I order it now, when will I receive ?

Almost always ships within 24 hours

It is counterfeit
3/5

That's not what BareMinerals is all about! It does not have the same coverage or color as the legitimate product. This packaging compares to my original BareMinerals packaging and there are many small differences that prove it is a counterfeit.

The product is a scam! Do not purchase! I have used Bare Minerals for over a decade
3/5

This is a knock off of their product. I noticed that it was completely the wrong shade, didn't provide any coverage, and my skin was dried out. There is really nothing special about this powder. It is basically tinted talc. Please do not purchase this! There is a photo of the real product to the left of this one. To the right of this fake one is the real one. There's a mistake in the colors. There is a talc powder scent to it as well. The price is ridiculous. This will be sent back to you as soon as possible.

The item you're looking at is a counterfeit. I have long been a fan of Bare Minerals foundation because it is natural and high quality. Since it tends to be a bit on the expensive side, I thought I'd take a chance on Amazon and see if I could save some This was something I had previously done on eBay as well and had It may seem hard to believe once you see the products sold by online sellers because they are very convincing, but if you look closely there are many details that are out of place. As I mentioned above, I ordered the original foundation in the shade medium beige. It did not look very similar to the product picture on their website. Aside from the glossy and shiny bare minerals label, I noticed the lid had round edges and was black. Below is a picture of a counterfeit product purchased from Amazon, as shown on the right. There are two types of current bare minerals foundations original and matte (genuine bare minerals is pictured to the left). Both types have a black lid with sharp edges, and the lettering is white instead of On the counterfeit jar, there was also a suspicious white sticker on the bottom that said medium beige, though when I removed it, the pot was actually labeled as quite In addition, the color of the picture looked off. Besides that, the bottom of a real bare minerals jar will have a security sticker with the bar code AND the batch number printed above. This batch number will not be in black print on both sides of the product. Fake products usually lack the sticker as well. In addition to the pictures, I have attached two pictures of the bottom of a pot of two bare minerals products in a fairly medium shade. I also purchased the product on the left from Sephora. It is genuine bare minerals. In the picture on the right, we have a counterfeit item purchased on eBay. A $31 price tag is what I paid in Sephora. The price on Amazon was $15 per pot, while it was US$100 for each pot. It was available on EBay for only $6 and on Amazon for $00. It is now even normal for prestige cosmetics brands like Bare Minerals to have sales and promotions, but if you see prices like these be wary. My initial reaction was to not be convinced even by those outside features. In order to open the jar, I did so. There is an arc or semicircle next to the sifter on the inside of every pot of Bare Minerals. Upon zooming in, you will see that the arc of the genuine product (left) is wider and has a number engraved in the middle. On the fake (right), the arc is thinner and there is no number engraved in the middle. The two products which are supposed to be the same and have the same shade, however, show a huge difference in I bought the real product from Sephora and bought the fake on Amazon/Ebay, both these shades are fairly medium. In a test, if you pour some product on each lid, only the genuine product will form small, tightly-packed clumps (left), while the fake product will clump up and appear White part of the original lid is also heavily textured, which is not the case in the fake product. The fake product is also very Is your initial skepticism still holding you back? By swatching the product on an area of your skin or feeling it on your fingers, you can get a feel for how the product feels. There will be noticeable coverage from real bare minerals, they will have a smooth texture that does not feel like powder, and they will provide water-resistant coverage. In the course of the day, it should not move much Fake products tend to feel powdery and dry and can have faint shimmers to them. When swatched, faux products will provide little to no coverage and just look like Again, I have swatched both products, and you can see the original on the left and the fake It provides wonderful coverage, evens out skin tone, and is less noticeable than the fake, but still provides great coverage. In counterfeits, the colors will often be lighter, they won't blend into the skin well, and they simply look like they are sitting on top of the skin. In the end, I rinsed off both products with only Genuine product stayed as it was, and was not altered. A makeup removal wipe was necessary. I was able to remove the fake products completely with just tap water in just seconds, leaving barely any residue You will notice when you apply the genuine product with a brush that it blends out beautifully and provides better coverage, whereas the fake product fades right off the skin and does not blend in or remain. It was a fairly medium pot (I bought two fake ones) that I used for almost a week, and the pot was virtually empty. In a world where bare minerals powder is stocked in genuine pots, you can use the pot for at least two months if you use it Thus, even when looking at the math just as it is, it would be better to just buy the genuine product rather than keep buying the I regret not doing this right off and should have known better. You can get bare minerals from Sephora and Ulta, both online and in store as well as direct from the Bare Minerals website. I wish I'd done this straight away. suspect you have a counterfeit product, you can take it to Ulta or Sephora and they can let you know if it's real or fake. You should not use a counterfeit product, it may be hazardous to your health! Anybody who is in need of this product should never put on an ingredient they do not know is in it. Bare Minerals is designed for sensitive skin so they should avoid using products with unknown ingredients. What is really disappointing is that they allow this seller to put up with such an unethical and cruel act. In addition, this is a big scam of theft and fraud at a mass scale. mind, as well as for the health of your skin and your health, make sure that you only purchase products from reputable beauty sellers. Always read negative product reviews before you purchase! There is truth in their words. A positive review that is generic, repetitive, and does not include any details or data is a fake and not written by a real customer. Watch out for reviews with the words "FAST SHIPPING"! I received what I ordered! I have never seen such an awesome seller! The product you've made is great! " All of these are It's a trap you shouldn't fall for. Don't spend money you don't have. It is definitely going to be refunded to me.

The problem appears to be - It is possible that this is a counterfeit product
3/5

I was concerned about the product regardless of all the reviews here (I hadn't read them yet). When I first used it, I thought something was wrong with The product just wasn't the same as Fairly Light, which I have used for many years. Adding it to my skin made it look like I had a matte, pink finish It was obvious who was looking through her eyes). My eyes were drawn to a well-lit well If I viewed my face in a lit mirror or outside in daylight, I saw that it looked flat and orange next to my porcelain neck. BareMinerals usually gives a natural, luminescent look to the skin, but this time it looked fake because the skin coverage was lacking. Within the first few days, I began to wonder whether I had applied it too heavily or if my brush was malfunctioning. My next thought was that maybe I just had In researching how to return it online, I was surprised to find that many other people have experienced the same issue, especially with the Fairly Light color. I've attached some pictures here that make me think that it might actually be a fake. I'd never even considered it could be a fake before, but my pictures make me think that it might actually be. The Amazon website. Amazon-com LLC is listed as the seller, and I trust it a great deal But, the company really needs to make sure where this product originates from. Maybe BareMinerals has another plant somewhere that produces this inferior product, or maybe it is a fake product! Either way, this is not a good deal. The BareMinerals are not the real thing. The following are signs it may be a Firstly, enter 1. It was very difficult to read the "fairly light" lettering on the bottom of the package. Moreover, the paper insert was faded (like a copy) and the edges were cut crooked, as if they were done by hand. I found it to be clumpier (not as fine) and the color on the product wasn't right when compared with my real BareMinerals powder that I still had. Authentic BareMinerals is luminescent and has coverage and color. When rubbed, the fake colour did not stick well to the test paper since its texture was matte. I rubbed them in the second picture.

The color is different from the product available The upc on the product and the name of the shade matched up exactly when I compared it with the one I normally buy at Sephora, but the color on the sticker on the bottom was slightly different, and I did not find it covered up quite as well as the one The foundation took up a lot more of my time and I also took on a different skin tone, more orange-toned I see a shade of gray
3/5

Before I gave in and bought another one in a Sephora, I used this for about a week. There is no way I will buy this foundation online anymore I will exclusively purchase my foundation at Sephora.
