There is no sharpener included with this product.
You can't keep it dry with this. The product will smudge in a warm climate it will not do well in a hot climate.
There is no black on this. The color is gray, it's not as dark as black, and it isn't as The dark black can seem too harsh during the day. I prefer light black for the daytime.

In comparison to the old ones, the new ones go on way too dark, aren't smooth to apply, and the smudge thing is rubber not spongy as this one is. Oh, and most of them look like twistable crayons, so that is not something I liked. The good old pencil that has been used for years is back, so if you're unhappy with the eyeliner pencils available in the stores now, you'll be delighted to use this pencil again. Why they were trying to alter it is unclear. There were no improvements that needed to be made. There are no complaints regarding color or application. It lasts all day and applies perfectly. Certainly, this is one of those situations where it is OK to not fix things that aren't broken.
My lip color stayed on all day due to its pigmentation. Additionally, it is ideal for lining the eyebrows and lips. As you can see, I used it on my eyebrows, lips, and eyes in this photo.

If you want something soft and less harsh than black, this is a great choice for you. While it's an eyeliner pencil, I actually use it to fill in my eyebrows as well. I have a light skin tone and small brows so finding the perfect color that doesn't look too dark, too red, or too green is difficult. I find this works well with my brow color. Because it doesn't smudge during the day and looks way more natural than eyebrow pencil shades typically do, this is a great option.
