Yes, I've been using this dark brown eyeliner for well over a decade. For me, a true brown is ideal.
It's a lighter taupe in color. My natural hair color is red, and I've been wearing blonde since I was in high school.
It wouldn't stay on the skin long enough to appear as freckles, in my opinion.

They are, however, rendered useless after only a few uses due to their inability to be sharpened. This is my all-time favorite eyeliner, which I've been wearing since the 1980s. It can be used on the eyes as well as the brows. It appeals to me because it can be used to line your eyes lightly or to create very dark lines. To get really dark black lines, melt it over a lighter for a few seconds, let it cool for a few seconds, blow on it, and then line your eyes carefully. If you make a mistake, simply use eye makeup remover on a Q-tip to easily correct it. tip. It's on for the majority of the day (and night - if you want to get fancy). If you use the melting method, you can get away with it as well. If you're looking for a dark black liner that stays put better than any other, I recommend trying the melting method. It doesn't flake or smear in the least. It's possible that you'll only need to touch up the corner of your eyes.
Unlike a lot of new eyeliners, it's still the best. There's a reason this pencil eyeliner has been around for decades; it, along with a lighter, is simply the best eyeliner I've ever used. I've been using it for over three decades and no matter what age you are or how your eyes are aging, lightly melt the tip with a lighter, gently blow on it to cool it down, and pow, you've got yourself the best black soft liner pencil there is. It also stays on the inside of your eyelids the longest. Simply purchase a good eyeliner pencil sharpener. I'm going to stop straying now because there's no other option.
So the reason I'm giving this product a poor rating is because of the color pigmentation, which is completely off. My go-to color is a dark brown. This isn't it when it comes to eyebrow color, whether it's a pencil, gel, or pomade. When you order this dark brown pencil, the color you'll get is a light reddish copper tone. When the pencil is applied, the contrast between your dark brown brows and the pencil pigment is quite noticeable. If you're looking for a dark brown colored pencil, I'd advise you to pass on this particular pencil. I've used other Maybelline brow pencils that are labeled dark brown before and never had an issue, so when I swatched it on my hand and saw the color, it took me by surprise. I went ahead and used it on my brows just to be sure, and let me tell you, I was dying at how ridiculous my brows turned out to be.
If your brows are light, the blonde is a lovely light brown that looks great! (It took my sister revealing this to me after years of using too dark of a color) but it works great, especially when freshly sharpened. My brows have taken on a life of their own.
I couldn't take the top off the pencil after opening the package. I couldn't get it off either the second or the third time. When I finally got the top off, the lead of the pencil came out with it. I asked my husband to remove the lids from the other two bottles, thinking it was just me. A similar occurrence occurred. He claimed that the tops had been pressed down so tightly that when the pencil's top came off, the lead stuck to the inside of the top came off with it. I tried using a pencil sharpener to get more lead out of four unleaded pencils now. When I finally got more lead exposed on three of the four, the lead simply fell out. I wasn't a fan of the color either. On my face, they appear to be a reddish brown rather than a dark brown. I didn't return the pencils because they were so cheap, but I will no longer purchase them.
I was in the middle of things. I chose medium over dark brown because what's left of my overplucked dark brown hair is pretty dark brown. thanks- the- My 90s brows are actually quite blonde, and they've always been lighter than my hair. I'm extremely disappointed: (Auburn or anyone with red tones should use a medium brown. ) No matter how hard I tried to hide it, it looked ridiculous. Fortunately, my sister's hair is dyed a lovely red color, so I'm going to dump this on her. For the price, I'll go with the dark brown, hoping it's a true BROWN shade.
This one is the best because of the soft color, which is especially appealing to me. When sharpened for the first time. It doesn't appear to be overly substantial. If you use thick strokes, it can get dark. This pencil was discovered 6 years ago and is no longer available in any local stores. I'm grateful for online shopping.
