It was such a joy to ride these rollers until one day, they arced and got a spark. Replacing the broken unit was a quick and easy process with Remington. The new set stopped working after using it for five months. Replacing them was a quick process for Remington. In the third set, I had been using it for about 4 months A little less than four months ago, it was Smoke began to billow out of the unit shortly after it was plugged in. Following a thorough reading of the reviews, I decided to give them I've been using hot rollers off and on for years, but after I tried growing my hair longer this year, I realized I needed something to give it some "oomph. " You may not agree, but I think it is necessary. As someone with fine hair, and a lot of it, I find that it tends to go flat rather quickly. Even so, my hair seemed to curl nicely with the rollers. The rollers seem to heat up fairly quickly, though my did take a bit longer than the advertised time. Before rolling, I allowed it to sit for around 10 minutes. It's nice that they have a power light to let us know they are on, but it would be helpful if there was a light to tell us when they are fully heated and ready for was able to take them out in no time. The clips are attached and you simply lift them out and take them apart. The roller has a slit in the center that you pass your fingers through and once you are finished, just flip the clip back on and slide them to the bottom. The second time I attempted it, there was a little bit of difficulty, but it was not a major issue. Those clips were easy to use and stayed in my hair for quite a while. As I took them out, I ran my fingers through my hair without applying any spray to see how they held. Without using hair spray, I was able to get a lot of body. It is not the best product if you need a lot of tight curls, but they are great if you want loose curls.
My curls were not soft and perfect like I used to have. No big deal. I wasn't able to achieve the perfect curls I was hoping A nice feature is that it's not too hot to handle with bare fingers. I am pleased with how easy and quick it is to heat up these higher diameter hot curlers. Hair is almost shoulder length and finer, somewhat wavy, but not especially so. When I curl the curlers, I leave them in position 10 Cook for 15 minutes (until cooled down). Taking it out before it cools does little to diminish its effects.

It is nice that the set is a lot taller than most, and the curlers are great, but it is a challenge to get the curlers off the heating rod and back on again. It is very frustrating and takes a lot of time to do. This flaw would rank high among my list of design flaws.
