These clips are the best because the tines are slightly flexible, so even if you clip the curler quickly and it sits on the side lip, it will still grip your hair and curler. They are my favorite. I've used them on three different sizes of hot rollers and have had no issues. I discarded the metal clips because they were not worth the money. When I'm in a hurry, I'm rough with them, but they've held up so far with no broken tines. My hair is approximately 12 inches long. 15 inches in length and thickness.

These do the job, but they aren't particularly impressive. My mother was having trouble holding them, so I had to assist her. Because one side of the clip is shorter than the other, I had to angle the longer side down towards the scalp in order for the curler to stay in place. I was hoping for a little more grip for ten dollars.

Despite the negative reviews about how it crimps your hair, I decided to give them a try. Hot rollers are used, and the u-shaped pins that come with the rollers are used to secure them. The pins, on the other hand, only keep the roller in place if you sit still and don't move your head too much. I used banana hair clips in addition to the clips because I like to do other things while waiting for the rollers to cool down. They're big and bulky, and they take up a lot of space. So I gave these clips a try, and they're fantastic. They don't take up a lot of space in my vanity drawer. They perfectly fit the roller's velcro section and keep the rollers in place while I perform my tasks. There is no crimping at all, which could be due to the clips holding the rollers taut beneath the plastic clips.
