Having used the set in several countries in Europe for years, I have a lot of experience with it. According to my understanding, the converter is internal and does not require any voltage switches. A 220 voltage converter is automatically used when it is plugged in. When I plugged it into a 220 outlet in Europe for the first time, I held my breath, but it is working fine now.
