It was for one reason only that I bought it. A couple times a week I have to untangle her beads and braids because my daughter is 2 years old. It took me multiple attempts to find a comb with quality teeth, so I finally bought one. Though I had heard stories about broken teeth, after weeks of using this product I have not yet encountered such problems. There is a degree of rigidity to the plastic, but it is What I particularly like about these combs is that they do not bend or have rough seams like the ones I experienced when they were made Those combs feel like they would be good for stylists. My hair clipper actually came in this form, so I purchased it. I can really get through my hair with this and the teeth are very durable and sturdy. Wet hair was moved easily with the steel pintail into different sections using the steel pin. A real handle would have helped with holding the comb, but a comb without a handle wasn't a problem. As I held onto the base of where the teeth on the comb begin, it felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this product.
