This product is the best I have tried for lifting the roots of my hair. I don't have particularly fine hair, but I *do* use it specifically for thinning hair roots. There is typically no delay in results.

My understanding is that it isn't true. The reason I have never tried this is that I have long, thick hair. The idea won't work anyway, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
