The product does not have a thermal heat protection feature. The Chi company has another product called 44 IRON GUARD that protects against thermal heat.
Unlike other products, this one leaves the hair with a very natural feel. It also offers a firmer hold, which is how I apply it. They make a product called Helmet Head as well that DOES leave the hair feeling thick and sticky!
It would be helpful if I asked my beautician about it! The only problem is that my hair is colored and she doesn't straighten it, so I don't know about that hair treatment. With Keratin-treated hair, I would guess that it is safe to use.

It is true that natural hold exists.
Great hairspray. I use it every day. I have used some other brands in the past, but be careful as they can simply make your hair oily and greasy. I like the way this hairspray makes my hair feel very good and it gives my hair natural looking results. The purchase is definitely worth it.
It is not very often that I use hairspray I have found that this product lends a light hold to my hands when I use it. The hair is still in place even when I comb through it. On the days that I go out in wind or rain, I keep a can in my car. I also use it for dressy occasions, since I like my hair to be perfect so I use it to add.
Your hair does not feel hard, stiff, greasy, or flaky after using this product. Your hair will be shiny, clean, and smell great after using this product!.
It smells great and retains its quality.
