It is not a good idea to use regular alcohol on blades as it eats up the steel. If it's Oster blades, I highly recommend this bladewash. If it's Andis, then I recommend Andis Blade Care Plus.
In all honesty, I have never counted, I have three different breeds of Standard Poodles whom I groom frequently, so I guess I purchase this twice a year along with oiling and sharpening them regularly. Having used the wash a second time when it wasn't very dirty, I dumped it again. There is no doubt it is worth buying, how much fine hair it removes from the blades is incredible. The spray is for cleaning and lubricating. This would require you to buy a cooling spray separately. Later, I discovered that Andis has a cooling spray that cleans and keeps blades sharp at the same time. Afterwards, I continue to use the Oster spray on my machine to ensure that it stays functioning. It is my sincere hope that this will help.

The dogs I own are all groomed by me. My blades remain clean and free of fur every time I shear my doodles with this blade wash. It saves me time and gasoline to have it shipped to my door. The can makes it look like you spray the blade as with the cooling spray, but this is a liquid I pour into a small bowl and run the blade just submerged for a short time to clean these hairs. The blade will work and stay ready to use for the next groom if it is lightly oiled before storing it.
Due to my ownership of Oster clippers and an Oster liner, I decided to buy this particular cleaner. As I am not a barber or anything, I had to watch a YouTube video to learn how to clean my clippers after I realized that after cutting my boyfriend's hair for 8 months I needed a deep cleaning. As a result of watching two YouTube videos, I decided to give it a shot. I was a little nervous trying to dip the clippers into a liquid while plugged in since they are not battery powered. It turned out there was a lot of old hair coming out of the motor when I didn't dip it in. I would estimate it took about 5 minutes or less to use the clippers and even faster to use As soon as I had cleaned them, I saw the liquid actually polished my clippers and made them look like I am very happy with my purchase and will be cleaning my blades more frequently now that I have When it runs out, I'm going to buy it again.
aerosol can is falsely disguised to appear like it's an aerosol can, but make no mistake, the can is not an aerosol can at all. There is a distinction between the aerosol sprays and the paste type sprays, which is disappointing. You get a tall can of oil that does not come with any kind of applicator. There should be a label on the can or in the product details, but there isn't one. As soon as you receive the product and find out what it contains, you will want to return it and they won't let you because they say that the product is hazardous and, therefore, cannot be returned. The movie was a ripoff!.

There is no doubt that these things work. Each time I use it on my Oster Fast Feed after I cut my hair, the blades are When I add a few drops of lube, the razor is restored to its former glory. Ideally, I put a small amount of the cleaner in a separate container and use it over and over again for several months before it becomes so dirty that I'll have to dispose of and use a new one. Hopefully, I will be able to enjoy this bottle for many years to come.
you use electric clippers, you cannot live without it if you are knowledgeable about this stuff. Those are the Oster clippers I use for my dogs.
I also use it to clean my own clippers. I cut my own hair every weekend every few weeks I run my clippers in a small dish with a little of this stuff and it takes out all the little particles they work 100 times better after that. Moreover, when you use clippers, you have the option of not cleaning them. . . it's a matter of personal choice.
These pieces literally had to be bought three times. The cap mechanism to close this is so so bad, so I had to give this a low rating. Since the first two spilled out, I actually had to buy three of them before I could even test it. It would be best if they invested in caps that would work.
Since I have been grooming my own dogs for years, this wash has been my preferred way to clean my clippers. My experience has never been a problem. I find it to be easy to use, as well as easy to clean.
