Yes, and they're more quickly washed away than most toners.
Both. If you need to be white blonde, it's a great pre-bleach step, but it also looks great on its own.
Yes, but it will require the addition of a developer. The bleaching action will be more powerful if the developer is stronger.
It's not a color remover, but it's faster. It works in a different way than bleach. The goal is to get rid of the color.

If you have colored hair, it's definitely worth a shot!.
I had permanent color over my blond that was a deep wine red color, and I reapplied Kristen Ess amethyst gloss on a regular basis. Then, in early April, I applied a mixture of manic panic enchanted forest and midnight blue over the deep red. I did another Kristen ess gloss over roots only in the amethyst when the roots began to fade and grow, so it was deep purple roots fading into emerald green. The green has barely faded in this photo, which was taken almost two months ago with this hair color. Because I didn't want to use bleach, I tried this instead, and it worked fantastically. I applied 20 volume developer all over, working the most product into my ends where the stubborn green was, and then a lighter coat to my roots. I believe the package specifically states that it should only be used on semi-permanent surfaces, but *shrugs* As you can see, I have some hot roots where my natural hair color has been completely stripped away from my scalp. It works in the same way that bleach does: the higher the heat, the better. I'm not sure what's in here or how this isn't bleach, but my hair isn't nearly as damaged as it would be if I used full bleach. This will definitely dry out your hair, but that is easily remedied with a good mask. And, to be honest, I think this did a better job than bleach at getting rid of the green. Last year, I had the same emerald color in my hair and was never able to completely remove the green tone. Because I had a red permanent base (green and red cancel each other out), it's possible that this removed the green so cleanly. In any case, I'm very happy with the results. I'm going in with red and orange dye next, so the lift level, which is very orange and yellow blonde, will be sufficient. My main goal was to get rid of the green and blue tones, so it's definitely uneven. If I used lighter colors, I would definitely follow up with a bleach wash to even everything out, but that isn't necessary for my next hair journey. I'd use this product again without a doubt.
If you're not careful, it will bleach your natural hair! I didn't get rid of my blue-tinted glasses. Completely green hair.
I purchased this product because I had dyed my hair purple at the salon and it was far too dark for me, so I needed to remove it. After doing some research, I discovered that this product comes highly recommended, but it's extremely difficult to find online because it's intended for professionals. I'm so glad it was available on Amazon. I only wish I had done more research because I had no idea my purple hair would turn green when it was exposed to the sun. I returned to the salon, and thanks to this product doing half of the work, she was able to get me to a nice blonde.
Given the smell, I'm not sure how this isn't bleach, but it works. I think the last traces of blue would have come out if I had given it another five minutes. It now has a year's worth of purple and blue removed, as well as a surprisingly nice blonde base. After that, I deep conditioned my hair, and it now feels fantastic.
I was in desperate need of my semi-auto Today is the last day for permanent color! Mind you, I used it to brighten up my manic panic purple hair. And it took less than 10 minutes to get all of the purple out of my head, restoring it to the platinum it had been before I decided to go purple! I have medium-length hair that is neither too thin nor too thick, and I only used one package. I also placed an order for three 2-liter bottles. 10 developer bottles, ounces To achieve the 1 to 3 ratio recommended by the product, I only needed 2 1/2 of the bottles. It's a good thing he has a product!.
I was hoping to redye everything a lighter hot pink by lifting the permanent magenta on the bottom half of my hair. Be aware that it bleached my natural hair, which I was not expecting. I don't mind and will lend a hand when it comes time to dye everything pink. I didn't know it would lighten my dark brown hair, so it was a little uneven. In the future, I'm sure I'll be able to judge the app more accurately. Anyway, I gave my hair a good rinse and deep condition (it was already a little damaged, so it was a dumb blonde by Bedhead). Hair appears to be healthy and soft. I'm really looking forward to the light bubble gum pink I got. It'll make a great foundation for my color.
Loreal Colorista Indigo was my go-to semi-permanent color. My daughter's hair has a permanent color in it. Her hair was naturally blonde with platinum highlights. We used a developer with a volume of ten. It lightened natural blonde hair by removing the blue color and lightening it by a couple of shades. To achieve the slightly pink-tinged look, we could have used a toner. It turned out yellow at the roots, but it's so subtle that she likes the color. The blue was almost completely removed from the platinum highlights. Those areas have a blue-green tint to them.
