Questions & Answers

Is it possible that my hair will return to its original color?

It may return to a more natural color depending on the layers of dye and whether you used semi-permanent or permanent dyes. I had only used semi-permanent colors in the past. Semi-permanent hair dyes only adhere to the hair follicle's outer layer. Unlike permanent dyes, they do not penetrate the follicle. In my experience, effasol successfully removed the majority of the semi-permanent color, allowing me to dye it a different color. It left it in 100% natural color, I would say. Because I only use pastels, my hair is nearly platinum blonde under my color. So I had blonde hair with a hint of the previous color. If you dye your hair black and have brown hair, it will come closer to its natural color. If you've bleached your hair, it'll return to the original blonde color. I would be willing to dye your hair the natural color you desire, as everyone's hair is different and dyed hair looks different on everyone.

Is this the genuine article or a forgery? ~Thanks?

It's all true. Make certain you're in a safe environment. Keep an eye on the color change in a well-ventilated room.

Is it necessary to use L'Oreal Developer or can another brand developer be used instead?

Choose your favorite brand.

How do I get an even color if the hair near my roots is darker than the hair near my bottom?

You can experiment with this product by applying it only to your roots. Your hair will become lighter as a result of using this product. It almost acts as a bleach when used with developer rather than water.

The Blue has been expelled! Because my local Sally's required a pro card, I purchased this product on Amazon, and I was hesitant to use it on my hair
5/5

My hair is mildly damaged from 5 years of bleaching, but not straw, and it's down to my waist; I used Ion Perfection booster, which works similarly to olaplex. When you mix it with bleach or dye, it reduces the volume of your developer by ten percent. So, for the length of blue hair I had, I used two packs. Approximately 80% of the hair was blue. I'd used ion brights to dye it teal and blue several times. It was adamant in its refusal to move. I even tried soaking in bleach, but it didn't work! But it was a huge success. So I used 2 effasol packets, 25 volume blond brilliance developer (unrelated but highly recommend this lightener line because it's very gentle), the ion perfection booster, and coconut oil on my hair before applying the product. I left it on for about 40 minutes, and then it was done! The color blue has vanished! If you use the developer, your natural hair will lighten. Perioxde (developer) is a program that does exactly that. As a result, proceed with caution and treat it as if it were bleach. However, my hair is still damaged in the same way it was before the treatment.

Efficacious It will, however, lighten the color of natural hair
4/5

Allow me to begin by saying that when I used this product, the vast majority of my hair had never been exposed to chemicals, so I began with extremely healthy hair. As a result, please keep this in mind as you draw conclusions from the following review. br>br>I have reddish-brown hair that isn't dyed. I have black hair and am of mixed ethnicity, but I consider my hair to be straight and Asian in nature. I'd been wanting to experiment with color for a while, so I decided to start with some underlights. What are underlights and how do you use them? LOL, it's a made-up word, but I believe you get the gist. A few chunky strips of hair at the back of my head were lightened to a medium strawberry blond color. br>br>Then I used the "conditioning semi-automated" method. To change the color of the underlights, use "permanent colors. " So far, I've only completed red, purple, and blue. I tried letting the colors fade out naturally, but they didn't fade out far enough to change the color (I tried to go from red to blue, and ended up with purple). br>br>I used this with water because I didn't want to change the color of my hair. Because I have very long hair, two full packets were required to cover it. I made an effort to limit the product to only the underlit/underlit (? /((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( ) hairs, but I'm not particularly gifted, and I ended up with it all over my head. After leaving it on for the recommended 20 minutes (and periodically checking the color), it removed all of the purple but left a light pinkish light blond hue from the underlying red where my hair had underlights; however, I believe this is normal for red color. That wasn't the end of it, though. It also lightened my natural color, which had previously been reddish-brown. the color ranges from black to reddish-brown Despite the fact that I didn't use a developer, the color turned out to be medium brown. br>br>I've used this product twice in the last two weeks. Because the Arctic Fox was leaking and transferring color EVERYWHERE, I used two packets, but for a shorter period of time, to switch from Arctic Fox Poseiden (blue) to Punky Color Atlantic Blue. Because I wasn't changing the color and didn't want to damage my hair, I only left it in for as long as it took to stop the leaking - The color will not be completely removed. I'm curious if there will be a slight blue or green hue when I take the blue off. br>br>I noticed that it dried out my hair after each use. I kept up with it- My hair felt normal again after using a deep conditioning treatment. br>br>According to the manufacturer, this product can "eliminate unwanted artificial hair color and re-color your hair. " "Paint on a white background," as follows:

- Unwanted color, uneven results, or a build-up of color should all be removed. Up
- Remove any permanent hair color that you don't want. br>- br>Remove any tint or underlying lightening- Hair is beautifully conditioned as a result of using this product. Getting Ready To Recolorbr>- Suitable for use with either water or a developerbr>- Does Not Restore Hair To Natural Colorbr>br>I give this a 4-star rating based on the claims made in the product description. stars.

- This will remove enough color from your hair to allow you to experiment with other styles.
- It's suitable for use with water.
- It won't change the color of your hair back to what it was when you were born. br>br>I took one star off because I didn't think my hair was "beautifully conditioned" and it didn't remove "all unwanted" color (a hue remained). It's worth noting that there's some semantics at work here, as I've used semi-colon. I'm not giving it an overly critical review, so I think we can agree to disagree here. permanent color and they clearly say "permanent color," but I'm not giving it an overly critical review, so I believe we can agree to disagree. br>br>Even though it lightened my untreated natural hair color, after reading the ingredients, the product description, and other reviews, I understood what the risks were. Despite the fact that my hair was dry after use, I was able to deep condition it and there is no visible damage - However, I don't believe this product should be used on a regular basis. br>br>However, because it claims to "eliminate unwanted artificial hair color" and allow the user to "re-color" their hair, I recommend this product for only occasional use. Its tagline is "color on a white background," and it delivers on that promise. br>br>On a side note, there is a strong sulfur smell to this. When mixing the product, you should 1) cover your nose/mouth with something to prevent inhaling the dust, and 2) open a window and turn on a fan to ventilate the area (do not use in a closed space).

For the AfroQueens in my life
5/5

I used to have half purple and half pink hair, and you can tell which side was pink lol, but the purple is completely gone now! The pink side had previously been red, so I believe it faded somewhat; however, I didn't mind because I went to an orangish color after that, which blended well. br>br>It definitely dries your hair TF OUUUT so anything to add moisture to your hair at least 48 hours before using should be fine, don't be like me lawd. br>Be careful of your roots, that shit changed the color of my real hair in some spotsbr>I have thick 4b hair about shoulder length so I used about 4 1/2 packs for my entire head but had a little left overbr>IMPORTANT: Mix the powder with distilled water as directed on the package, as the water quality in your city may cause an adverse reaction! I hope this is of use to someone!.

Sally's won't sell them to me unless I have a beautician's license, so I ordered these. They're normally $5 a pack, so I figured this was a good deal, and it'd save me the trouble of ordering more. br>All right, so let me just say this to you. This is a substance that can be used to make other substances. That means it has a strong odor (wear a mask if you have respiratory issues like I do) and it can get quite hot. I mean, you'll be able to feel the heat radiating from your head. Avoid getting it on your face, neck, or scalp, as it could burn you. br>Apart from that, it's fantastic! Your hair will undoubtedly become lighter as a result of this procedure. My hair is a natural 2 and this turned it into a 613. I didn't blow dry my hair, but I always use a deep conditioner after "being cruel" to it. I've used it before and it didn't cause my hair to fall out.

This stuff works like a charm
5/5

I bought this to get rid of some incredibly stubborn purple (One N Only Argan semi-permanent hair dye). It sucked out all of the purple (permanent Pure Purple) and pink (SFX Atomic Pink) dyes. My hair had been layered with pinks and purples for about four years, but this stuff turned me into a really pale cool blonde. I wouldn't leave it that color because it wasn't very consistent, but it did provide a great canvas for dyeing. I'm still amazed at how well it all came together. My hair was slightly dry afterward, but that was easily remedied with a deep conditioner. br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative My hair is wavy and curly, and it is extremely porous. Before I used this product, I applied a coconut oil mask overnight.

I used Splat to dye my hair pink, then went over it with black
5/5

(I know. ) I've had my hair dyed black for a long time, but I wanted to go blonde, so I bought this. It was incredibly successful! I used Color Oops to remove some color residue first, then this stuff a few days later. My hair turned a coppery color as a result of this treatment. It didn't appear to be too badly damaged. Then I bleached and toned my hair until it was level 9, which it is now. I used Wella toner and L'Oréal Blue bleach with 40 developer. So, in a matter of weeks, this product took me from level 1 to level 9. It essentially acts as a bleach, which is why you should condition your hair and why your natural color will not be restored; you will need to dye your hair again after using it.
