You can use either, but unless you use a protein filler (available at Sally's Beauty), expect to buy two shades lighter because the color will grab dark. Use Neutra protein filler in a demi permanent shade from Ion Color Brilliance/Wella Color Charm in a shade 1 lighter than the shade you want for a faster processing time.
It's theoretically possible, but it's highly unlikely. I used this on hair that had only been colored darkly a couple of times, and it didn't lift the dye evenly (in some places there was no visible difference, while in others my hair was orange), and it turned my roots bright blonde.
Most likely, your hair will be fried. Do not engage in this behavior.
This product will remove any dyed color from your hair, restoring it to its natural color. For example, if your hair is naturally grey, it will be returned to that color.

My hair was not ruined! After my husband and I lost a bet, I experimented with a purple dye (Feria). Once you apply the metallic highlight dye, it's nearly impossible to cover. After that, no color, not even brown, was able to cover up the purple. As a result, I had to start over by removing my hair. I'm very concerned about the potential for harm. This worked without causing damage to my hair, and you can immediately recolor your hair after using it, which is a huge relief! It is something I would strongly suggest.
After several years of bleaching my hair blonde, I decided to go back to dark brown for three months. I'm a lot prettier blonde, and I used this to get rid of the dark dye. I'll tell you, it was fantastic and far exceeded my expectations! It reminded me of a lovely blonde! Just a suggestion, but I strongly recommend this product. If your hair is shoulder length or longer, order two. You will be thrilled with the results!.
Haircolor isn't the only thing it gets rid of. Your hair will become bleached as a result of using this product. Mine became hay as a result.
DARK BLACK is the color of my hair. I'm going lighter and needed to get rid of some of the color. It had an effect. Because of the new hair, it does not work on the roots. My hair has turned a reddish/orange color. I'm going to dye it now. br>br>It doesn't have the same odor as color oops. br>Aids in the removal of color. br>My hair is medium length, and I had a little extra.
I followed the directions to the letter, evenly distributing the product throughout my hair, and the result was a patchwork quilt!! In some places, color was not removed, and in others, it was overcompensated, resulting in a huge nightmare! The worst part was that I had to go out in public to get a different product before I could recolor my hair, which was completely humiliating! You get what you pay for with this product, so don't waste your money.
I ordered a box of this hair dye removal because I didn't want to bleach my hair but wanted to remove my red hair dye so I could dye it back to brown, and so we used it before starting the process of dying my hair, and might I add that this stuff ruins your hair and it crimps it up and it is so so so dry that when you wash it out, your hair literally hardens up and sticks together when you try to towel dry it, and I had a tiny bit of hair loss using This stuff was supposed to help you recolor your hair after an unwanted color, but it didn't help at all; in fact, it made things worse, and now I'm wasting money trying to get my hair to be healthy again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT!.
I am not a hair stylist, but I was blown away by how simple it was to change my "black" human hair wig to brown. The end result was outstanding. I left the product on the wig for longer than it was supposed to be on, and the end result was a lovely brown with dark red highlights. The color complemented my lovely dark skin tone perfectly. I would highly recommend this product and would place another order.
When I asked if this product removed pool green hair, another buyer said "yes. " So I bought it. "It didn't get rid of my green hair at all. I followed the product's instructions to the letter (I'm a professional reader and writer, so I'm pretty good at following directions), lest anyone scream "I didn't do it right!" " I did. ) It did bleach my hair, but my pool green ends became even greener, so I went to my stylist today (yes, Sunday) and she cut off the green and gave me a nice layered cut, as well as coloring my hair with a warm blond that covered any remaining green tips. This product DOES NOT WORK if you want to get rid of green in your hair.
