yes. If your hair is light, use vol20, and if it is dark, use vol40. 50/50 mix
That's correct. My hair is quite dark, so I use this to lighten it up enough to color in under half an hour.
Yes, that is correct. Don't use the entire tube at once; mix it half and half with developer. You can make as much as you need because there will be no waste if it goes further than you anticipated.
Yes. The lightening creme is a bleach that is applied as a cream rather than a powder.

I did my friend's hair and it looked fantastic! I was able to lift a significant amount of weight.
This is my go-to bleach. It was much easier to mix with developer than powder, and it removed the majority of the color from my hair (this was the first time I'd ever used bleach on my own hair). br>br>I did use a homemade color remover before bleaching, but it still lifted amazingly well. I was pleasantly surprised by how much more I got than I expected. I was expecting a light copper, but it turned out to be a dull yellow.
I've tried the best of the best salon brand powder lighteners (you know the ones; they're definitely not available at Sally Beauty). This one is more appealing to me. For starters, it's white; there's no blue tint that does nothing to tone your hair while it's lifting, but it does make your hair appear lighter, causing you to rinse it off too soon, ugh. Second, the ultra-smooth cream is one of my favorites. It's very simple to use. It is less harmful to the environment. Finally, what we've all been waiting for — it works better than anything else I've tried before. I'm a level 4 dark brown, and that photo is bleached twice: The first volume is 30 volumes long, and the second volume is 20 volumes long. No more than 30 minutes each time, uncovered and without heat, with coconut oil-saturated hair.
I had previously used black box dye in my hair three times, which I had heard can be difficult to remove, but it lifted beautifully. Before, during, and after are depicted in the images above. My hair was bleached in an ombre pattern, so the top was a lovely caramel brown and the ends were light blonde. ) This lightner is excellent for lifting; however, the bottle only lasts about two uses before it runs out, so if you have long hair, you may need to purchase two or more bottles.
I was able to lift the old box black dye fairly well, but I had to go back in for another bleach round because I couldn't get all of it out. However, with black box dye, this is to be expected. As a result, I'm still amazed at how light it was. I used the L'Oréal developer as well. One bottle was enough to do one round of shoulder blade length hair. br>br>The first photo shows the first round, while the second shows my mature brown and black hair.
This is by far the most effective bleach I've ever used. It lifted me two and a half levels higher than Wella powder bleach, and it can be left on your scalp for up to 35 minutes without causing a traumatic chemical burn. It's usually available at Sally's, but I do a lot of my shopping on Amazon, so this was convenient. Keep an eye out for overpriced items.
Bleach, not toner, is what it is. It lightened my hair, but I was attempting to remove rather than add the yellow and brassy color. It completed the task, but not in the way I had hoped.
This is something I use on a regular basis and it causes very little damage. I also got the color I'd been after but couldn't get at the hair salons. There have been no breaks or burns that I've noticed.
