It seems like you could probably do it. I've never tried, but I can't see why you couldn't. If you don't boil it, the bottle should be fine as long as it's not broken.
Certainly, it should be able to do so. Squeezing the bottle is the only way to get the liquid out. Hence, you should have no problems watering a small growing plant with this.

For haircolor, this is the perfect bottle! It is only possible to squeeze the tip of the bottle to release liquid. There have been no leaks. There are numbers on the bottle that are easy to read, and there are measurements of less I like this bottle because it is strong. The lid and tip of the jar are sturdy. In addition, since the tip is sturdy and doesn't leak, you can use it while coloring to separate hair strands. The next time I buy this, I will purchase it.
One thing that would make this perfect is if it had a cap so that when I shake it, the contents stay sealed tightly. That isn't a big deal, but it is bothersome. My mom may want to buy another one when I do her hair because I still like this bottle.
There is a leak from the top of the bottle, which As soon as I began tilting it, the fluid would be pouring out before the dispenser even reached my hair. I initially suspected that it was coming from the tip of the dispenser. I have yet to try it with dye or a sensitive liquid, but it is not a good product for those situations. Perhaps mine is just defective, but so far I am not satisfied. In the beginning, I gave it two stars, but then I noticed the leaking got worse, so I am giving it one star now. This is a terrible.

The fact I am not a professional hairdresser, and this being a time of transition, I was having trouble using the bottle, the color (liquid) would not come out of the pointy side, so I cut a hole in the black protrusion on the bottom. Basically, now the color is coming from both ends - when both are filled to the brim with color, there is nothing left.
It does not have a black top or slant. I just wanted a small bottle of Peri. The item cannot be returned. This is the height of false advertising.

I have been using my bottle for almost a month now, and I use WAY less product and am able to apply it wherever I need to without touching my head. By putting the tip of the tube into my roots, squeezing, and dragging the bottle across my head, I've made my life so much easier. As a result, I have been able to get even and fast application every time, resulting in not wasting as much product as I did previously.
