There doesn't seem to be a reason why you wouldn't be able to use 8 oz bottles for liquids

The purpose of this purchase was to use them However, I am not happy with how narrow the rubber caddy I purchased is. What I wanted was something with a uniform shape that I could put my shampoo and conditioner in. I like it because it looks neat, it is easy to use, and it will not crack or break if dropped in the shower. Only thing I would change is that the openings should have been a little wider so it would have been quicker no matter what. In the condition of my hair, my products are like.

They are used with my Blackstone griddle to cook oil in and water in. I like that the plastic is thicker, as opposed to some. I am very pleased with this.
This is the third time I have bought them. I purchased the first order with soft gaskets/washers inside the nozzle to make it seal properly, and they work really well. These nozzles do not leak anywhere around the nozzle screwed onto the bottle when I use them for liquids. As a result of the second order NOT coming with these washers and soft gaskets, when I squeeze this bottle a surprising amount of liquid comes out near the nozzle, creating a big In order three, they also came without these soft gaskets/washers because they were a replacement order for order two. Initially, I would have given the first order 5 stars as I loved them, but apparently that was a fluke and what I am receiving today is not up to par. One of the worst parts is that, if you're buying these for the first time, you probably won't realize that they should have seals around where the nozzle attaches to It's still a challenging task to find more of these, but I would rather not shop on I am sorry to hear that.
It is my preference to buy my favorite shampoo in the larger bottles and then transfer to these smaller containers for in-home use. It's perfect. I use it in the shower.
It is in this bottle that I store my Jamaican black castor oil. I am very pleased with this! I did not experience any leakage from the twist-top.
An area around the lid is leaking. it for tie dye on a shirt so it was useful, but wouldn't be such a good choice if you wanted to use.
This twist top stays in place and the Red Caps don't fall out. *Because I love them.
