In the past, I had brought this product by another brand, but their shade of black changed to a lighter one that did not match my hair color. In addition to my black hair, I also have brown eyes. There is a dark enough shade of black in this brand, and it works well! I was skeptical at first, but when I tried it, it came on much darker than what it looks like One thing I do not like about it is the brush, for this reason I only gave it a four-star rating. I have replaced the brush with an alternative that has a flat 1/2 inch brush with strong bristles because it helps to distribute the powder more evenly, straighter, and covers better at the part line. This brush has a stronger bristle profile and I find it works better.

A great way to hide grey hairs

The black hair that I dye fades within a couple of weeks, except for the grey hairs. By doing this, you can mask the grey hairs for a longer period of time. Having less frequent hair dyes saved me from having to pay more for them.

This product does a great job of blending in the thinning edges of my natural hair - I wear my hair close cropped. While a wash cloth is available to me, I just wash it off at night in between shampooings.
