It's not tough to comb my hair because it's quite fine- I can see my shoulders a bit farther than that. In the heat, the heat is nice for getting my hair off of my neck. I could not get them to work. While they can hold up the hair of toddlers and young girls, they are way too flimsy to hold up anything that isn't that small. I wasted my money on this.
