Questions & Answers
My great-granddaughter was able to use it successfully. It took some effort to spread it evenly enough to cover the bun.
Yes, you can make your own bun with it. I had no assistance, and my hair was all the way down to my buttocks. Yes, either an adult or a child can use it. It makes no difference as long as you have enough hair to tie into a ponytail and cover the foam.
Hand washing appears to be a simple task.
I have curly hair as well, and I've previously used this bun maker. I like to wear it in the summer when I don't want my neck hair to make me sweat. I don't need to straighten my hair; I simply dampen it and smooth it out with a comb and a light gel: ) br>Heating or straightening your hair isn't necessary if you're going to wear it up in a bun!

I liked how durable the material is, because it took me a few tries to get it right! (I have very thin hair)br>Seems like I got one large, two medium, and one tiny when I thought it was four different sizes (could be my fault for not reading), the bobby pins are nice and thick, and the elastic bands that match the donuts are perfect!br>Will update review after a few months to account for wear and tear. br>**Update*
It has been running since yesterday, with normal wear and tear. I went out and bought another, and I'm very happy with it.
My hair is long and thick, and I have a lot of it. I needed to get my hair into a neat bun for ballet, so I tried this product, and I was surprised at how simple it was to "install" on my head and tuck/hide the very long end--it reaches past my waist. also a few bits It came with a rubber band and hair pins that were of excellent quality and did not wear out after just one use. I'm really looking forward to having some fun with the smaller donuts.
I ordered the brown to match my daughter's brunette hair, and they're perfect; the different sizes allow for different activities; for example, my daughter is required to have a 3-inch wide belt. Ballet recitals require a 4-inch bun. The other sizes will be ideal for days spent playing, going to school, and everything in between. I'm sure I'll be able to apply this to my own situation! The elastics that come with the bun makers, as well as the bobby pins that come with them, are ideal for holding the bun together. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase, and I have yet to discover any drawbacks.
I got these because my hair had grown to shoulder length and I'd been forgetting to get it cut on a regular basis. I can usually get several days out of it before I have to wash my hair again once I finally wrangle it so it looks like someone sane put it in. I'm curious if I could wash my hair while it's still wet. I don't believe it would be harmed by water. To avoid having to fiddle with it, I'll do anything. When I had long hair that I permed into tight curls a couple of times a year, I was at my happiest. It was wash-and-wear hair that looked nice, but I'm getting too old to keep up that youthful appearance. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I don't want to appear as if I'm desperately clinging to whatever youth I can muster now that I'm in my seventies. For my age, a bun is perfect. There is still no grey in my house. It has a creepy quality to it. My hair isn't aging as much as I am.
I'm working on my military bun with these. I think the donuts could be a little denser, but they're still tasty. You just have to be careful if you use a comb because it will loosen the little wires and cause them to stick out. I don't use ponytails for the sock bun, but I have been using them non-stop. When you're lounging, take a break for a relaxed updo!.
The quality of the materials appears to be satisfactory. The size is just right, not too big or too small. Adults and children alike will enjoy it.
br>There are three sizes of buns; I used the smallest today to make a ballet bun for my 3-year-old daughter!
Pro: It was simple to do, with simple steps to follow and great hair band material; everyone was happy!
Cons: None!.
