Questions & Answers
The size is determined by the size of the toe involved and the individual's foot. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my toes, as well as bunions and hammertoes, and I wear a size 7 women's shoe. I started with the small ones on my small toes and gradually increased the size until I was satisfied with the fit between my toes. I have all three sizes because I need to separate all of my toes from time to time. A useful rule of thumb is: Depending on your foot, a large shoe will fit a large toe, a small shoe will fit a small toe, and a medium shoe will fit the rest.
The medium is 1 1/2 " high and 1 " wide at its widest point, while the small is 1 1/4" high and 7/8" wide at its widest point. I wear a size 8 shoe and do not own or require a size large. I hope this has been of assistance.
I do, in fact, wear these every day. A snug- The use of a well-fitting sock can be beneficial.
My shoe size is 8 1/2. For the space between my big toe and the one next to it, I use the medium. I believe the small should be used for the space between your small toe and your big toe. If necessary, you can cut or trim them down. The large is something I've never used.

The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent. made, with a great design - I've never seen anything like it in a local store. These are a little more substantial. They're a little thicker than a drugstore silicone separator, but they're not as bulky or uncomfortable inside my shoes, and they work much better than the thin silicone type. And having a slew of them is fantastic. So far, I've only had the opportunity to try the Medium size. It was exactly what I needed.
My doctor informed me about these. I went to the doctor because I thought I had an ingrown toenail; however, after examining my big toe, the doctor determined that it was not ingrown but was squeezed into the next one, and recommended these as spacers. I immediately felt better, and my toe gradually learned to move into its proper position. But, because my wandering toe occurs from time to time, I keep a supply on hand to retrain it back to its proper position.
These work well to keep your toes from rubbing against each other and, according to my research, can help relieve arthritis symptoms and pain. I've had these for over 30 years and don't want to be without them for too long.
These foam toe separators are very comfortable, and they are allowing me to postpone surgery. I just wish they weren't so expensive; it wouldn't be so bad if they lasted forever, but the glue or whatever holds the three layers together doesn't last very long, especially since I wash them in the sink after each use. Small, medium, and large are the three sizes that I have. On my surgically repaired foot, I wear two to three at a time.
While these can be cut down, the thickness remains the same, so that wasn't helpful. I bought them to replace ones that I had that were apparently the extra small size. They actually push my big toe too far because of the thickness, which isn't ideal.
Several years ago, I came across these on a discount table! WOW! These are absolutely fantastic! There will be no more corns, and they will last for a very long time! If you're in the same boat as me, these are a must-have! Since I started using this product, I haven't had a corn; they're also washable and extremely long-lasting!.
I didn't expect it to be as big as it was. I'll get the small size next time because I'm wearing it between my second and third toes. I'm going to cut the separators down to the same size as the one my podiatrist gave me. It's simple to do with a pair of sharp scissors.
These appeared to be very similar to the more expensive separators I received from the doctor. They aren't, unfortunately. They're a lot thinner and softer than I had anticipated. They are not something I would order again. I'll put them to good use before moving on to something else.
