I'm not a podiatrist, so I'm not sure how to respond to your query. They give the toes and feet a good stretch in general. A podiatrist should be consulted if you have toe alignment issues.

Because they work so well for me, I start sleeping on my back and wear these all the time. True, they can snag on the sheets, but this is dependent on how much you move around while sleeping. I've had these for about a year and wear them almost every day for an hour or two, but I still wake up at some point during the night to remove them because my toes are sore. To me, it's well worth it. My toes are much more straight now than they were a year ago!
They are very soft and flexible, Elaine. Silicone is what they are. I took them off in the shower the other day! They're very bendy, which makes it easier to get them in between your toes. I start at the big toe and work my way down to the small toe when I put them on. I place each "gem" between the toes, then go back and pull slightly on each "gem" to ensure that it reaches the base of each toe for maximum stretch. It's simple to do, and your feet will thank you!

I'm a size 10, so the photo on their home page is either from a very small person or a larger version of these that they don't send out anymore. It has almost no effect on me. br>CHECK OUT THE OTHER ONE-STAR REVIEWS WITH PICTURES - Some of the ones I and others get are knock-offs. offs - and they are more compact. br>If you have small feet, go ahead and try it. Other products will undoubtedly be superior to this if you are a size 9 or larger. br>Buy with the knowledge that you may end up with a fake.
Hi: You must keep in mind that the damage to your toes took years to develop, and you may have experienced pain as well. I bought these, as well as Original ToePal, Toe Separators, and Toe Streightener for Relaxing Toes, Bunion Relief, Hammer Toe, and more for Women and Menbr>br>At first, I was going to return the yoga gems due to the discomfort of wearing them and the lack of results. But then I changed my mind and decided to wait. When I was watching TV at night, I started with the toe separators that came with the order (the ones that looked like the spa ones). When my toes were no longer bothered by them, I switched to yoga gems during that time and wore the toe separators at night. I gradually increased my yoga gems time to 4 hours, followed by a 4-hour rest period. Toe separators for 8 hours before bedtime. My toes have been changing over time. Because of my too-narrow shoes, my third toe was rubbing against my second. My third toe is now beginning to return to its proper position. I've been doing all of this for a few months now, and I'll keep doing it for a while longer.
I'm a Womens size 8 with fairly narrow feet, so 10 minutes at a time will suffice. My right foot is developing a bunion, and I'm just trying to take care of my feet to avoid surgery in the future. I'll experiment with these for a few months and report back to you!.
For about a month, I've been wearing the Gems Yoga Toes. They are easy to put on and take off, and I use them in the evenings before retiring for 15 minutes to two hours. Except for my little toes, they're soft and I don't have any pain. The little toes are the most uncomfortable, owing to the fact that they require the most separation; however, I have not noticed any positive changes in my toes. I'll keep using Yoga toes and reporting on anything that catches my attention.
To no avail, I've tried everything from direct fascia injections to physical therapy, oral steroids, various gadgets, shoes, orthotics, and massagers. I figured, hey, I've tried everything else, why not give this a shot as well? It's incredible how much relief I've experienced in the last 48 hours! They don't seem to be able to stay put. To keep them on, you have to grab them with your toes, which defeats the purpose of stretching out my toes. These are not something I would recommend. They're both overpriced and lacking in quality.
You have no choice but to remain motionless. Because they get tangled in the sheets, you can't wear them to bed. It is strictly forbidden to wear shoes with them on. When I try to cross the floor with them on, it feels like I'm walking with rocks between my toes.
Strecthing is a word that comes to mind when I think of strecthing. This was purchased to aid in the repositioning of my big toe back to its original position. I have two bunions that I inherited from my father's feet, and you'll notice on my right foot that I have a really nasty scar from my recent bunion surgery. Because the nurse clipped the stitches incorrectly, it became infected, and I now have this lovely scar to remember it by. I bought this hoping to fix the next foot so that I wouldn't have to go through this painful ordeal again, but unfortunately, my doctor told me that there is nothing that can be done to correct the bunions, and this will only provide temporary pain relief. The only way to fix it is to have surgery, so aside from that, I love how these feel on my feet; they make my toes feel great, but they don't reposition my bunions back to their original position. However, I'm not going to sit here and badmouth Gem Toes; it's a fantastic product; it's just that if you have a bunion, it won't completely realign it; you'll need surgery if it's too bad. However, there's plenty of room for toes to breathe and stretch, and they're super cute! I still wear them; in any case, they really help after my bunion surgery to keep my toes spread and to keep my big toe in place so that it doesn't fall out of position again; thanks to this, I no longer feel the two screws in my toe when I wear them:.
