Kaytee Pro-Nail Trimmer

I needed this to replace my previous clippers, which didn't clip my Guinea pig nails at all; instead, they pinched and loosened them, causing great discomfort, and they leaked a lot of oil after only one use, which is strange. I ended up using clippers designed for humans on my pigs because the clippers I got at the dollar store were more effective. Maybe I got a bad copy, but I'm disappointed I spent so much money on something I could easily replace for a buck.

Because my rabbit despises me, I wasn't able to trim all of her nails, but the ones I did manage to do so without causing her any pain. The trimmer is small, about the size of a pair of baby scissors, but an adult can easily hold it - The trick is to be able to easily hold your pet at the same time! The price was less than at the pet store. Expect them to trim your nails, but also expect them to break if you step on them while wearing boots or something. Because the handles are made of plastic, they will break and the blades will most likely bend. br>br>WARNING: TRIM YOUR PET'S NAILS CAREFULLY - It's crucial to recognize and avoid the quick, and cutting it hurts! I'm trimming what I can and then taking Bunny to the vet to have the rest of her nails trimmed. This is good for maintenance on a nervous pet, and it may be good for all your needs on a relaxed pet, but that has nothing to do with the quality, but rather with the owner's skill and comfort zone - Because I didn't want to hurt my bunny, I only needed to perform minor maintenance.

I own two cats as well as guinea pigs. My critters do not even flinch when I use these trimmers. With my critters, I used human nail clippers for over four years! Squeaking or pulling back their paws were common responses. I had no idea it was because their nails were being squeezed by the regular clippers. This clipper is very simple to use. It's now a breeze to trim your nails!.

Long-nail days are a thing of the past. My two hairless guinea pigs' nails need to be trimmed so they don't scratch each other or grow too long. I first tried regular nail clippers, but they squeaked and hurt their nails, so I bought this pair in the hopes of solving the problem. br>br>It's so simple to use these, and the increased visibility I now have when trimming their nails makes me feel more secure and less worried about clipping/trimming too high and damaging the vein. The nail trimmers' comfortable handle/grip and size have made my life and the lives of my guinea pigs much easier.

If you have very small fingers, these are ideal. I can get my index finger into the clippers, but the tip of my thumb is barely fit. The purple inserts in the holes can be removed if you want to make the holes a little bigger. These have a solid head with no play, which is ideal for my kitten's razor-sharp claws. It's easy to see how much nail you're cutting off thanks to the design.

I'm not sure how well they'd work on a dog's feet, but I'm sure they'd be fantastic on a cat's. My guinea pigs ate it. They made a big deal out of it because they didn't understand what I was doing at the time, and they probably still don't, but that's fine. Because these scissors are so small, they worked well even with my large hands.

These were simple to make and had a nice clean cut for a 12 pound steak. Unlike eight other anxiety-ridden sessions with med, there was no whining or struggle, and she received the perfect trim. What a difference between trimmers of different sizes!.

I've tried everything to trim the nails of my guinea pigs. He despises it to the point of insanity. He screams and screams and screams and scream I have a pair of scissors that are similar to these, but they aren't as sharp. He has no idea he's getting a manicure because these cut through his nails like butter.
