I've tried it with a variety of gel polishes and it works great! IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL GELISH USERS! It's not the lamp that's making your Gelish Polish sticky after curing! When I first got it, I thought the lamp was broken because the Gelish Brand polishes remained sticky even after two days of curing. It only takes three minutes! After curing your nails, wipe them down with rubbing alcohol or Gelish blue nail cleaner. It FINISHES the process by wiping away the sticky residue. After the cure, I like to wipe them down with alcohol pads and then expose them to the light for another 30 seconds. So there are Gelish users. Painting, curing, wiping with rubbing alcohol, and curing They're rock-solid and flawless when they're done!.

Before purchasing, I conducted extensive research. I did a YouTube search and read Amazon reviews. This lamp was the one I chose. In order to cure my builder gel, I used a 4watt sensationail lamp. It wasn't going to work. This 48-watt lamp easily cures polish and builder gel. It's a great buy, and I'm hoping it will last for a long time.

I've been going to the nail salon every 2 to 3 weeks for YEARS, spending probably between $80 and $100. 00 per month if acrylic or gel nails are used). As far as my profession is concerned, As my life became busier in general, I realized that scheduling an appointment to have my nails done (which was also expensive) was becoming a hassle, so I decided to try it myself. Now - The first time I did it, I was a little sluggish - However, I believe I performed admirably! Aside from the gel dip nail kit and a small dip tray that helps make a nice smile line with the white gel, I also bought this UV lamp (see another review for that recommendation - They claim that it significantly aids in the hardening of the nails - if this is correct) and I am very pleased with all of the items!.

For the working nail technician, this is an excellent lamp. I really like the dual UV/LED and the auto-on feature. In addition, there is a "comfort-cure" option. 90 seconds at a lower output strength to "cure the burning sensation" that some people experience when they use too much gel at once. As far as I can tell, it has the SAME features, look/design, and specifications as a brand name lamp sold by LE for $198. I've been doing nails for 29 years and can say that this is an excellent lamp for a new or experienced technician. I only wish this model had a visual display timer, but you can get one from the company if you need one. However, I will give this model a 9 out of 10. I give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

  When I got my lamp, I was overjoyed because it meant I could start saving money by doing my own nails at home. The lamp worked perfectly the first three times I used it, but then it stopped working on the fourth use. Whatever I did, it kept flickering, and when you unplugged the power cord from the lamp itself, the plug sparked. br>br>As requested, I sent a video of the flickering and sparking to SUNUV, and they simply stopped responding to my emails. I emailed again after a week and received no response, requesting a solution. After two more days, they email me to say they are unable to assist me and that I should contact Amazon. When I spoke with Amazon, they informed me that I needed to contact SUNUV. br>br>Needless to say, I'm disappointed that it only lasted three uses and that no one offered to help me find a replacement.

It worked for the first couple of weeks, so I'm disappointed. And now I have clients with wet nails who have sat under the light for three minutes. This is a TRUE REVIEW FROM A LICENSED NAIL TECHNICIAN. DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY!.

My first manicure lasted for one week and three days. It honestly would've lasted until the two-week period if I hadn't been picking at it, and my nails grow so quickly that it's a pain! Also, so far, I'm really enjoying this. I was able to save a lot of money as well as the damage to my nails. Overall, it's simple and quick; next time, I'll order some glitz n jewels to experiment with! FYI, I used the 90 seconds button with a lower power setting because the other options cause a slight burning sensation on my nails; It's sturdy and effective.
