Yes, I did use mine the day before. To make sure it's completely dry, I set the timer for 120 seconds. It always works!br> I also like how portable it is!
Yes, gel is excellent for this, and it works for both of them; the key is in the timer settings.
This is an UV LED lamp, to be sure. Any gel polish can be used with this lamp.

The timer on this nail lamp can be set to 30, 60, or 120 seconds. When you choose a time, it is saved, and all you have to do now is stick your hand in the slot to turn it on. The fact that you can remove the bottom piece of plastic if you're doing your feet is, in my opinion, the best feature of this. When I did polygel nails, I used this as a base. The recommended curing time was 2 minutes, but this lamp completed the process in 60 seconds. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a quick cure light that does not get too hot to buy this. The only thing I would change is the length of the cord, but I was very pleased with it overall!.
Apart from that, it's a great unit. It was purchased to cure UV resin in molds, and it performs admirably, but not as well as a good 365nm flashlight. The multiple angles and hands-free operation are advantages. The operation is completely free. Attached is the instruction manual. br>br>Power was measured using a kill-meter. watt meter, so the figures are approximate, but the 84W claim is far from accurate. High- mode of operation (30) 60- second configurations): Low-voltage, low-wattage, low-voltage, low-voltage, low-volt mode of operation (120-volt) 2nd position): 19W/34VA. For the deception, you get a star.
The cord is adequate in length, but I had to use an extension cord to get it to where I work. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it healed. The timers are accurate, and the instructions in the small booklet were easy to understand. The fact that it detects when you put your hand in and take it out is something I **LOVE**. It's extremely bright, and it did an excellent job curing three different gels, as I previously stated. The bottom is removable for feet, and it is extremely light weight while still feeling well constructed. When we arrived, all of the lights were turned on. My only wish is for an on/off switch to ensure that it is truly turned off. Only because a) I'm a klutz, b) I have overly curious cats, and c) I have kids, do I say this. Yes, unplugging is possible, but it may not be practical if you are in a specific/permanent location. But, as I previously stated, it is only a wish. I was pleasantly surprised by the price-to-value ratio.
It is extremely light. Simple to work with. It's large enough to fit your entire hand inside, and the buttons are simple to operate. When you put your hand inside, it automatically turns on. br>Update: It doesn't completely dry your nails; no matter how long you're under it, they're still sticky and the polish comes off.
Since my previous lamp had broken, I was ecstatic to try out this new one for my nails. Based on all of the positive reviews, I had high expectations for this UV/LED lamp in particular. Regrettably, I was not one of the lucky ones. I've been doing gel nails for a long time and have never used a lamp that was so hot and painful. I couldn't bear putting my hands into the lamp, even after applying the thinnest layer of gel possible. It literally burns when you try to get close to the light. I've tried a few times, but I just can't take it anymore. Sorry for the negative review, but it's extremely difficult to properly apply gel nails when the process becomes painful due to the use of this lamp.
It took 30 minutes under this light to dry gel nail polish, which I would not recommend.
I've tried a lot of gel nail LED nail lamps at nail salons, and this one is by far my favorite, not only because the inside is my favorite color (soft pink), but also because there are lines inside that guide your hand placement. This is a fantastic feature that I've never seen in a nail LED lamp before. The drying time is exactly what it says on the tin. Of course, this depends on the polish you're using (read the back of the bottle to find out how long it needs to cure under the lamp), but I love that there are THREE time settings. Overall, this product does exactly what it claims to do, and it does so well. The lamp's design is attractive and compact, and the added features, such as the soft pink interior, make it even better.
I dislike the fact that my gel nail polish takes about 20 minutes to dry under this light. It's nothing like the equipment used by professionals. I'm not sure why these things don't have real light bulbs in them. These beads are simply not up to the task! If you have the time to sit and keep your hands under this thing for 20 minutes for each coat, then I suppose you should buy it. But I can assure you that I would not purchase it again! I'd save the money and take him to Sally's to get a professional one that only takes 60 seconds to dry.
