This is a really cool lamp. I worked as a nail technician for 12 years and used a UV lamp. By a long shot, this one outperforms it. Because there are multiple LED lights on the sides, the thumbs cure quickly.
No, it does not have a rechargeable battery. To function, it must be plugged in.
I'm a technician who works with nails. I use this lamp 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Both gel nail polish and builder gels are cured with this device. This lamp has given me a lot of pleasure!
Yes, there are four timers on it. If you don't want to use the sensor, there are four timer settings to choose from: Low heat mode (10s, 30s, 60s, and 99s).

For the past 12 years, I've worked as a nail technician. This product is fantastic because it not only cures the gel polish properly, but it also smells great. It also cures the thumb (some people's thumbs slant downward, and most gel lights can't cure it properly because there are no lights on the side. ).
Over the last eight years, I've owned a variety of lamp brands. Even more than other brands, the Sun brand has far exceeded all of my expectations and needs. But take a look at this little gem. This is incredible. I've never had a lamp that cured ALL TEN FINGERS so effectively. Thumbs up from me. Nothing is missed while in the lamp because of the placement of the lights. I am completely 100% satisfied with it. What an incredible turn of events. SUNUV, THANK YOU! br>br>Sincerely,br>br>A highly satisfied Nail Tech!.
I ended up using it on both my artificial and natural nails. br>Long-lasting - It's still functional as it was when I bought it. Inside, all of the lights are still on and the timers are still working perfectly.
Use - The nails are slightly warm when used on your own hand, but they are still very comfortable. Because the light is so bright, I wouldn't recommend staring at it directly. br>Motivation - To cure polish, I find that I have to go over it twice. However, I have a couple of other lower-powered units from different manufacturers that take a long time to warm up. So this, in my opinion, is more than powerful enough for home use! br>br>Overall, I believe it is a purchase that is well worth the money; it is long-lasting and does the job!.
This is my first review, and I feel compelled to share how wonderful this light is with the rest of the world. I'm a professional, and I've spent the entire day working with LED lights. Most of the lights I've used break within 2 days to a year, and there's always a dead spot somewhere in the light where the gel doesn't dry completely, especially with OPI gel polishes, which require full light exposure. Normally, the THUMB does not dry completely, and its side wrinkles as a result of the light not reaching it completely, so I have to dry them separately. The client's big toes also stick up too close to the light (from the pedicure chair) and don't dry at all. br>Since I've been using this light for two weeks, all of my problems have vanished. I've never had a problem because the client can put their hands and feet in any position that feels comfortable to them, and the light dries them all in less than 30 seconds. I rarely press anything; the light turns on by itself and, I believe, turns off after 120 seconds, which is plenty of time to dry gel polishes. I haven't used any products that require UV light to dry, so I'm not sure how quickly it dries, but I'm confident it will - Who, on the other hand, still uses UV products? It's a relic from a previous era. br>The light is of average size, which I like because it has a lot of interior space and the client doesn't have to worry about their nails hitting the side or top of the light. It's almost possible to fit two hands inside, or even one hand on top of the other. It's ideal for people who have large hands. The light is still small enough to fit in the drawer of my workstation, which is a bonus. To dry your toes, simply pull the bottom part out. I wish the bottom was metallic and attached with magnets so it could be easily removed like other lights, but I'm so happy with this light that I don't mind; the design is overall so sleek and modern, big but not bulky like some lights I've seen that are so ugly. My lamp is dubbed "The Tesla of All Lamps" by me. I'm overjoyed to be moving up from a Huynday to a Tesla. It appeals to me. Now I'm hoping it will last at least a year or two, but I'm not expecting much more for this price.
This lamp will most likely suffice if you're only going to use it for gel polish. One clear glitter led polish, for some reason, would not cure at all. (In my gelish lamp, it cures in ten seconds. ) ) When it comes to builder gels, it's possible that they won't cure completely. After 90 seconds, I discovered that my Gelish Polygel and IBD LED Clear Builder Gel remained soft and flexible. I bought it to save time instead of using my UV lamp, but it appeared that I was just as involved. br>I also wish it did something when the double power mode was activated. I couldn't tell if I was on double power or not. The lights were always turned up to eleven. In that case, you might want to keep it a little lower, out of your line of sight, than on top of your desk. You know how you can see the flash from a camera after it has taken a picture? If you even glance in the direction of this thing, you'll see ten of them. br>br>I've switched to the Gelish 18g, which I realize isn't for everyone's budget and provides more power than most people require. (You can get a used one on E*** for a lot less. ) The Gelish's shield has made a bigger difference in my eyes than I expected. The lights on this machine weren't blinding, but they did make a big difference in how much light gets to your eyes, reducing eye strain and exposing your skin to more light. br>br>I don't believe this light did anything special to justify its higher price than the others. It appears to be a little more sturdy and sleek, but I believe the $30 lamps will perform similarly, particularly in terms of polish. br>br>ON THE OTHER HAND, br>If you're going to the trouble of making your own builder gels, just buy a good light. Look through Craigslist****, Mercar*, E***, and other online classified sites. You'll come across one if you look hard enough. It will be well worth your time and effort. I'm sorry I wasted money and time on tips that ended up lifting due to insufficient curing. Take note of what I did wrong.
