I bought a small spray bottle from the dollar store to pour it into because it didn't come with a pump. To travel with, I also bought a travel-size spray pump bottle.
Jojoba is one of the ingredients in this product.
I haven't heard of lice, but it would certainly make your hair greasy.
Although the sss bath oil is effective against mosquitos, Avon also offers Bug Guard, which is effective against mosquitos and other biting insects.

FAKE! This is a product that I have ordered from Avon for years (and even used as a child). This product has a distinct scent, and what I received is clearly not an original or high-quality product; not only does it not smell like Avon Skin So Soft, but it has a foul odor to it. I'm not sure if this was a tainted or expired product, but it's certainly not of good quality or genuine merchandise.
I originally purchased Skin so Soft to keep mosquitos at bay. I'm not a big fan of poisons, so the fact that it's "natural" appealed to me. Then, while doing yard work in a meadow on my property, I discovered 15 ticks on me. I combed three out of my hair, pulled two off of me, and the rest were on my clothes. I went to a "feed store" to buy "anything" when the salesman suggested I try Skin So Soft. I didn't even need to buy it there because I already had some at home due to the mosquito problem. The next day, I sprayed myself from head to toe, and to my amazement, not a single tick returned with me. For the past four years, I've been using it to keep those pesky critters away from me! I ADORE THIS STUFF AND COULDN'T VISIT THE WILDERNESS WITHOUT IT!.
I was looking for the original Skin So Soft formula (from the 1980s), but it appears that they changed it recently. Avon's website no longer lists it; only this version is available. br>br>In this one, mineral oil is the first ingredient. I'm not sure what the original formula was like, but this isn't it. It's not even close to matching the original SSS in terms of color. br>br>The consistency of this version of SSS is similar to that of cheap baby oil. It applies easily and has a pleasant scent. However, it lacks the original's texture and feel, and it no longer repels mosquitos throughout the day as it once did. After my morning shower, I put some on and went for a walk in the woods around 5 p. m. I bit three times in total. br>br>I've also noticed that my skin is drying out faster now that I'm using SSS on a daily basis than it was before. My legs and feet are dry by the end of the day when I shower in the morning. That wasn't the case with my other body oil, so I'm going back to my $3 bottle of Africa's Best oil (which is fantastic for my skin and hair). br>br>If all you want is a nice-smelling oil, this will suffice. If you're looking for a replica of the original from the 1980s, this isn't it.
It was used on both myself and my outdoor dog. It works well against mosquitoes and flies, leaves a nice shine on the dog's coat, and is also beneficial to my skin. I put it on a paper towel and rub it across her coat and under her belly for my dog. It appears that she enjoys it, as well.
I used it to hydrate my skin after being outside in temperatures as low as 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Use it to replenish moisture after being exposed to the sun for an extended period of time--it keeps the skin soft and supple even after the sun screen has worn off-- The scent is wonderful, and the skin feels even better. It soothes my skin after a daily shower, and I use it instead of creams on my face. In my opinion, you can't beat it.
This is a product that I have used for a long time. Citronella is one of my favorite scents. I like the scent and how it keeps me from scratching throughout the winter. I have a pump that I use on a regular basis. In the shower, I fill a type bottle with this, and after turning off the water, I take a small amount in my hand and rub it all over. (Avoid dripping on the shower floor; you'll slip!) )br>br>But there's a catch: Don't buy from just anyone! I got mine from UltimateWareHouse0988 (shipped through Amazon) and there wasn't much of a scent. Either this is extremely old or it is a forgery. diluted. Because it feels natural, I'm going with "super old. " It simply does not have the same delicious scent as Avon's original product.
This item was purchased as a gift for someone who has a serious ant infestation. The ants vanished after you spread it around the area where they were.

Given the COVID-ness of the product, I was delighted to see it for sale on Amazon. Pandemic number 19 has arrived. My other crucial coworkers describe my scent as "shower fresh. " It's great for legs and feet, so I use it on them. arms. Before going to bed, rub it into your hands to keep your cuticles soft and your hands smooth. It was originally marketed as a summer mosquito repellent because it contained citronella, and I use it before working in the garden and on camping trips with good results because it's a lot nicer than other bug repellents that contain DDT. It's a great value for money in the large size, and it's also very portable because it can fit into smaller spray bottles.
