It's just body oil, don't get me wrong.
It's only oil, after all. However, I would not recommend using it in the shower because it will make the floor slippery.
Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) is the fourth ingredient on the list. There is a strong lavender scent to it. And it does say "soothe and sleep with lavender" on the front label. I've been using this product for a long time and am a big fan of lavender. I hope this has been of assistance.
After a shower or bath, smooth all over to seal in moisture and leave skin silky and soft. To moisturize your skin while you soak in the tub, add a generous amount.

Instead of using lotion, I use tea tree oil on my body after a shower or bath. It starts out oily (which is natural), but it doesn't stay or dry oily. This product has become an addiction for me, and the lavender scent is one of my favorites.
My husband's type 3C hair is incredibly fickle, and this oil appears to be the only thing that will keep it moisturized. br>I love it and use it on my skin. If it's a particularly dry season in the desert, I'll apply a layer of the same brand's lotion on top to seal it in even more. Dr. Teal's has become a staple in my house because I have thyroid disease and rosacea, both of which cause my skin to be even dryer than most.
One strange thing is that after a few days of having it, we began to notice ants in the bathroom, all over it and my razor, which I occasionally use with the oil. It's unusual to see ants in the winter in this part of the world, let alone so many. And no, I wasn't using a sugar scrub or anything like that; I had pretty much narrowed down the attraction to this oil. We set traps and sprayed, and despite continuing to use this oil daily, we haven't seen any ants since, but all I'm saying is don't take this oil camping.
I've tried a lot of different bath oils, and this is one of my favorites. br>It moisturizes my skin and smells great. br>It's also a good price.
This is what I use to help with leg pain and cramps. It's just as good as, if not better than, any magnesium lotion I've used. It has an oily texture and takes a long time to absorb, but it's well worth it. It also softens calluses on your feet better than any lotion and significantly improves the appearance of varicose veins. A faint lavender mental odor can be detected, but it is not overpowering.
I believe that my continued use of this product has improved my skin overall, adding moisture and locking it in. I'm 58 years old, which isn't too old, but I still have dry skin on my arms, legs, and hands, especially in the winter. This is a fantastic body and bath oil. It works!.
I use this once or twice a week in a bath. It's hydrating, but it doesn't clog my pores like some body oils do. The scent is lovely, strong, and authentic lavender - Not the fake floral lavender found in some scented products, but rather a rich, almost spicy lavender essential oil. After a few months of regular use, the first bottle is about halfway gone. It only takes a little to make a big difference. I'm sure I'll place another order.
This oil, in my opinion, has an overpowering scent. The lavender is quite noticeable, and not in a positive way. It isn't greasy, and it has no long-term effects on the body. It did not help when I used it with lotion. This product did not appeal to me, and I was looking for something new. I should've continued my search.
