As far as this board goes, a toddler can sit for a short time, due to the uncomfortable seat of the board. However, I wish Bugaboo Wood came up with some accessories worth their price. Getting in the way of pushing the stroller is another issue. walk to the side of the board in order to avoid hitting it with my right foot.
I love that it is easy to assemble and my toddler really enjoys riding Because of my Bee3, I don't need to buy a double stroller and I can just use it for my babies and toddlers!
