Questions & Answers

What is the procedure for installing this on my Vista computer?

Simply unhook the shoulder straps and thread them through the ganoosh's slots, as well as the slot between the legs. It's super simple and takes less than 30 seconds to complete.

Is it a shade of blue or a shade of gray? Is it the same as Ryan's minu?

This has a blue hue to it. Teal is the color of the Ryan MINU. The blue of the Gregory Ganooshi differs from that of the Ryan MINU.

Is this going to work with the infant snug seat?

It will work with the infant snug seat insert, yes.

Is it possible to use both the snuggest and coziest ganoosh at the same time, or must one be used at a time?

I'm not sure what the definition of snuggest is, but cozy ganoish is a decent size. With this installed on the stroller, my 16-month-old 25-pound baby has plenty of room to move around.

m. For my 9-year-old daughter, I have an Uppababy Vista with a rumble seat. twins aged one month I live in New Jersey, and every day I walk them to and from daycare, a 15-minute walk. They were going for a 20-minute walk and needed something to keep them warm during the cold winter months. I was torn between this and the 7am Enfant 212, but decided on Uppababy because of the better fit. They fit and look great, and they're warm and cozy where they cover my babies, but they don't do a good job of covering them. These are more like a foot muff than a full-fledged blanket. The top zips open on the sides, and the babies' arms and hands are constantly exposed. I need to put gloves on them, and I'm thinking about putting them in full winter coats, but I'm worried that the part of them under the cozyganoosh will be too hot. I've seen people with 7am Enfant covers that zip right up the middle like a coat, preventing their babies from sticking anything out and eliminating the need for coats and gloves. I contacted Uppababy and explained my situation, but they had no solution and didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. It's just not a very practical design, I guess.

I'm not fond of it
3/5

After the first, I had a love/hate relationship with it. It's been used for five winters now. When my child was 13 months old, this was the perfect fit. Now that she's 22 and has been using it for a while, I've had enough of it for the past 24 months. First, the side zipper, which didn't bother me as much when my child didn't have superhuman strength, is now a stumbling block. My hands are frozen as I try to yank the thing up while my child screams, cries, and thrashes because, well, it's stuck. In temperatures below 30°F, she does not want to be zipped up. When she was a baby, I used a different brand of blanket, and the zipper worked perfectly. The second issue is that when you fold the blanket back, it covers the recliner button, which I guess didn't bother me as much when she was younger because I didn't have to deal with the thrashing and screaming at the same time. When you're wrapped up in a blanket, it's nearly impossible to press that button. My child dozed off with her chin in her chest and her nose and mouth resting on the blanket. I tried to push the button to recline her back because I thought it would be nice if she could breathe (yes, sarcasm), but it wouldn't budge. Then there were the huge gusts of wind that blew her uppababy rain cover right off into a busy intersection, where two passers-by attempted but failed to catch it before it blew away into the sunset. Oh, and did I mention that my hands were frozen when I attempted this? How do you make a product for the uppababy that covers the recliner button on the uppababy? Make room for it by digging a hole in the ground. It's not difficult! I just wish I had purchased a different blanket that zipped up well and allowed me to access things on my stroller, such as the recliner button. She's also under 35 inches tall and very slim. There's no wiggle room once she's put on her coat (she won't keep her arms inside, so she always wears one). That could explain her thrashing. Other blankets I've seen on the streets appear to be larger and more comfortable. But I feel compelled to keep this item because it cost me so much. But hey. It appears to keep her warm (and that is the only love).

It's comfortable to wear and looks great
5/5

Pros : The color is lovely, it fits perfectly, it's a perfect match for our stroller, it completes the look of the stroller, it folds around the stroller bar but can be zipped higher if needed, and it's warm. Cons : Covers the piece that allows you to recline the stroller seat; a small opening would be ideal, but I still like it.

It has a nice appearance, but it isn't very well-covered
3/5

It appears to be exactly as shown in the picture. The only two issues we have with it after a few weeks of use over the winter are 1) difficulty with the zipper (it gets stuck a lot and requires an awkward amount of force to close) and (2) when fully zipped, the top chest part is very loose, exposing our child's chest, shoulders, and arms. As a result, we must still wrap our daughter in a thick winter coat or cover her top half with a blanket. You would expect more coverage for the price of this item. It can't be beat for looks, but keep in mind the extra layers/steps you'll need to add in order to keep your child warm (this won't do it on its own).

This is a must-have for the chilly winter months! I needed something to keep my one-year-old warm while we were out and about because we live in the Midwest
4/5

We have the uppababy vista and love all of the uppababy add-on accessories, so we decided to stick with the brand. br>I love how warm it keeps our little guy; I don't feel like I have to wrap him up in a blanket since getting the ganoosh. He's toasty warm even with just socks on (he manages to take his shoes off while in the stroller on occasion). ) I like how soft the inner layer is and how water resistant the outer layer is. br>Here are a few things I don't like about it:br>The hood part: it doesn't stay put when your child moves around. But that's what hats are for, so it's not a major issue. br>br>The stroller's Velcro straps are as follows: They never seem to stay in one place for long. The zippers are as follows: br>br> Because the ganoosh is quite plush, it takes a little patience, but this is a minor quibble. br>br>To summarize, I would strongly suggest this product to anyone who lives in a colder climate. To be honest, it's quite amazing! The advantages vastly outnumber the few disadvantages!.

I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to purchase it again
4/5

So, this cozy ganoosh was a must-have for me. I was a little late in getting it, and it was pretty much sold out everywhere, so I had to pay even more than usual for it here on Amazon. I'm not sure I'd do it again, to be honest. Don't get me wrong: it's lovely, it goes well with the Vista, and it's toasty. Is it, however, financially worthwhile? I'm not sure what I'm saying. br>br>The zipper is a pain to use and doesn't always work properly; it doesn't go all the way up (which is especially annoying if you have a baby who needs the extra coverage at the top), and it's a bit bulky at the bottom. br>br>I'm glad I got it because I needed it in New England's frigid weather, but I'm not sure I'd get it again. br>I'm not sure if that helped or hindered your decision, but I hope you now have all of the information you require.
