It is better for children than a very small adult.
I believe it would be appropriate for a three-year-old. My son wraps it around the back of his neck or the front of his neck. I taught him to wear it in the front because when it's around the back, it doesn't really support the head from falling forward. He also enjoys cuddling it, and it always brings him joy. I hope this information is useful:
I wouldn't put it in the washing machine. You might want to give a light hand wash a try.
The pillow is nice, but it's a little big for my six-month-old twin grandson. We'll probably use them when they're a little older because they're smaller than most 6 month olds.

This might work for a slightly older child, but not for a one-year-old. Also, the $6 was a pleasant surprise. To be included is a 99 Ross price tag. Especially since I had already paid $11 for it.
I've included a photo of this neck pillow next to the Trunki Yondi Travel Pillow (the Trunki Yondi Travel Pillow is VERY cute). It's the cutest one we've ever seen, so I really wanted it to work. Soft and cuddly, with bright colors and sweet details. I immediately noticed how big it was. This pillow is significantly larger than the Yondi pillow. When the toddler's neck is slumped to the side and you want it held up, this appears to be a good idea, but logistically, the back part of the pillow on the back of the toddler's neck will only push their head forward and down. I repeat: putting it around their neck and back will not work. This pillow will only work if it is wrapped around the FRONT of their neck, with nothing behind it pushing their head forward. br>br>I am an adult female who used this for a short period of time in the car. It's big enough for a small adult, but it's too big for a toddler in my opinion. And, of course, no toddler will sleep with this wrapped around their neck "backwards. " It simply does not work. You could try slipping it on the front of their neck once they've fallen asleep. Overall, the Trunki Yondi comes out on top as the best toddler travel pillow. By a long shot. It has a magnet attached to keep it around the child's neck long enough for them to fall asleep without having to remove it. Genius.
The neck rest is quite large, so it's better suited to a toddler or preschooler. The material, on the other hand, is plush and inviting. The straps are a good width and are very comfortable. I haven't tried washing it in a machine yet. I'm concerned that the neck rest will be ruined. Overall, this is a nice piece of decor to add to any car seat or to use on a stroller when spending time outside.
This neck pillow is absolutely adorable! It's a big hit with my daughter, and she's been using it nonstop since I gave it to her. I bought it for a trip we're going on in about a month, but she's already putting it to good use. The only reason I gave it to her with four stars instead of five was because we noticed a seam had popped and about an inch of space along the seam was open on the head the day I gave it to her. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was a bummer to realize we'd have to re-stitch it. Aside from that, everything is in order.
I've tried other kids' pillows, but this one is the best; it's also longer, which provides more support on the sides of your head. The best neck pillow I've ever used.
We haven't used the strap covers because they are soft but thin, but we are happy with our purchase overall!.
Before we even got halfway there, it split open and all of the stuffing fell out. We didn't use it because it caused my son's neck to fall forward more than it did before.
This neck pillow is a big hit with my daughter. She was already enthralled by the book, and now this guy is accompanying her everywhere. She wraps it around her neck and walks around with her hands free, which is hilarious. Exceptionally soft and adorable.
