It shouldn't be too heavy! These have just the right amount of thickness! They don't appear to be obstructing my son's seat's safety, but they are thick enough to keep the straps from leaving marks on his neck

Simple to Put On Because they have Velcro, you can make them as tight as you need (so they don't slide on the seat belt), these covers are very easy to slip on the car seat belt

My Chicco convertible car seat fits perfectly with these. They appear to stay in place and protect my baby from rubbing against the straps. They're simple to set up and take down. They're the perfect thickness, in my opinion. It shouldn't be puffy or flimsy. As we use them, we'll see how well they hold up.

Manipulation of the seatbelt

These strap covers are exactly what they say on the package. It's quite thin and soft. My problem is the same as it has been with other products of a similar nature. The strap cover gets in the way when I want to retract the seat belt (to get out of the car). Getting the strap back into "starting" position requires some maneuvering.

For newborns, read the comment. These were bought as a gift for our new baby. We can't tighten the straps all the way to get the chest clip where it needs to be (armpit level) because they're just long enough. They'll be fine once she's a little bigger.
