To warm the packs, simply microwave them for 20-30 seconds at a time until they reach the desired temperature. Warm gel packs should be placed in pouches before being placed in the seat liner.

They are, in fact, quite small.

Is it possible to use this method with infant seats?

Yes and no, the black insert will not match the straps, but I use a receiving blanket to separate the ice packs (inside blue bags) from the baby.

Does this protect the seat from accidents during potty training?

It's mesh, so I don't believe it. It appears to have gone straight through.

When I put him in the car seat and buckled him in, I noticed he had a strange expression on his face - Something that no mother wants to witness. He was freezing, and his face was blank. I quickly slid him out of the seat to give him a chance to warm up. It's a good thing I caught it in time. My son is hot, but I believe the cold packs were simply too cold, penetrating all of the layers. So it works, but he finds it to be a little too cold. To make it more bearable for him, I now place a burp cloth on top of it. To be honest, I no longer keep the ice packs in the freezer. Now it's just a seat cushion in the car. Maybe I'll just freeze half of the packs.

The perfect way to keep your baby cool

Because we live in Arizona, keeping our baby cool is essential. Our toddler enjoys car rides but becomes irritable when it becomes too hot because he sweats excessively (unfortunately, I also sweat excessively). This, on the other hand, is ideal for keeping our baby cool in the car and stroller.

I felt terrible that my daughter was sitting in her car seat in the backseat, freezing. This is great, but you have to remember to bring it in when you get home, and it only takes a minute or two to microwave before heading out to the car in the morning. It's easier to persuade my daughter to take off her puffy coat (coats should not be worn in car seats) because her back and bottom will be warm in her seat, and we can drape the coat over her front after we buckle her up, keeping her warm all around.

It makes me feel better knowing that my infant stays cool when I take him out running with me in the hot Florida sun. In the 90-degree heat, we run for over an hour. When we get home, the bottom half of the house is always freezing! Because his core is working against him, the top half of his body warms up faster. However, it functions admirably in general. Some days, I even bring it with us in the car.

In a car seat, this is not safe

This is just a friendly reminder that putting this product between your child and the car seat will cause the car seat to change and may turn your baby into a projectile if you have an accident. This should never be used in a car seat! It is categorically NOT SAFE. br>br>However, it looks fantastic in a stroller!.

Because it isn't waterproof, I used a waterproof lap pad underneath it. My grandson is no longer crying because it is too hot. This is a fantastic item.
