Questions & Answers
No, the straps are too short to fit across a king-size bed.
Yes, they will fit a queen bed, but they will also fit a king bed.
On a day bed with only slats and a mattress but no box spring, we made it work. Even though we had to cover the slats with a thick blanket, it worked out fine. When not in use, it can be tucked away between the slats and the mattress. When the grandchildren come to visit, it's well worth it.
It does not come with a carrying case.

We were able to make this work with our slatted bed frame (without a box spring) after a little research and "engineering. " We purchased two long pieces of wood from Home Depot (which will cut your wood for free) and had it cut into four pieces to fit the gaps between the slats. Details can be found in the photos I've uploaded. This was less expensive than a couple of sheets of plywood because none of them would fit a queen properly and it didn't cause any additional bulge. It cost me an extra $7 to make it work. br>br> Simply double-check your measurements and add 5/8" to account for the plastic piece that will be used to secure the rail in place.
I'm currently sleeping in the middle of a king bed, with a co-sleeping infant on one side and an occasional toddler sleeper on the other, so I was thrilled to discover an extra long bed rail and purchased two for both sides. It appeals to me. Both took about half an hour to put together and set up by myself (with a toddler helper who didn't help much), but two people could put one together and set up in no time. Fits perfectly for a king bed and is a perfect length almost covering the entire side. Extremely happy and well worth the money!.
It's of good quality and it'll last for a long time. I couldn't bear the thought of banishing my elderly dog to the floor when he began falling off the foot of the bed in his sleep a few months ago. Instead, I ordered this and draped it across the foot of my queen-size bed. mattress of a certain size It isn't particularly attractive, but it is of sufficient quality. It's of good quality, and it prevents my dog from injuring himself, which makes me happy.
I believe it is a good idea, but it is insufficiently tall. It should be a little higher. It wasn't tall enough after I put my mattress on top of it. I sleep on a mattress with a pillow top.
I really wanted to like this bed rail because it was one of the few with larger dimensions that I could find, but I'm afraid it's a bad design. The rail's "arms" are positioned between the mattress and boxspring. This is how it is done in the industry. The issue is that the arms aren't completely flat; they're about 2 inches off the ground. 5" tall. As a result, when they are placed under the mattress, they lift it significantly in two areas, causing the mattress to be uneven. I'm sure it'll wear down the mattress over time. This product is not one I can recommend; the designers did not put much thought into it.
This item will not fit thick mattresses (as shown in the photo). The barricade is insufficiently high. Also, unless you're very strong, this product isn't for you if you're alone and don't have any assistance. The reason for this is that connecting the straps to your box spring necessitates moving your top mattress. If you don't have a box spring, you won't be able to use this product. The instructions, on the other hand, did not appeal to me. I figured it out on my own for the most part. Their video does not show the same product that I received.
It was simple to put together and connect to our king-sized bed. It's not as simple to fold down under the mattress, but I'm a lazy housekeeper and wouldn't do it anyway. I bought it to put on my side of the bed so our baby wouldn't fall out in the middle of the night when I inevitably doze off while nursing, but there's a small gap between the bed and the rail that a toddler wouldn't notice, but that my newborn would definitely slip into. The problem was fixed by stuffing it with rolled towels. I'm going to keep the rail because it's useful.
Ok, just finished installing it, took me a minute, and the directions were ehh, it should have just said alight the side rails and pull up on the top to secure it to save some time. So keep that in mind. br>But, in general, I believe it will work out perfectly. It has an inward lean to it and will not budge no matter how much weight you put on it. I also have it on a long and still tightened it up and had about 3-inches of extra length. The cords have four inches of slack.
