This isn't a particularly lengthy paragraph. It does not appear to be capable of containing my child. We have a different crib and toddler rail, and the rail is 50% longer and provides better coverage, so we'll be switching. Update - With this rail, my toddler fell out of bed the other night.
So now I have an item that I can't use because it was falsely advertised, as well as a two-year-old who has fallen out of bed several times because your listing was incorrect. I see now from reading the other reviews that at least three other people bought this because "Grove" was listed in the product description, and "Grove" was listed by the seller when other people asked what models this item fits. I see you've updated your listing. However, I contacted the seller twice without receiving a response, and Amazon told me there was nothing they could do for me except give me a $10 credit for a $69 item that was misrepresented in the listing. They advised me to contact the manufacturer, but this was a seller issue, not a manufacturing one. I have this item brand new in the box, and all I want is for BabyEarth or Amazon to return or refund it.
Instead of buying new toddler beds, I decided to order these conversion rails for my DaVinci Kalani cribs (I have two of them). They arrived after a few days, and I was pleasantly surprised at how simple they were to install. br>br>I discovered that in order for the rails to fit, the mattress had to be in the lowest position. It took about 5 minutes to complete the installation. There is a design flaw in that the bottom screw on the side of the rail with the grates is too close to the bottom rail, so you have to remove the alan wrench and replace it in the screw all the time to get it all the way in; That is extremely aggravating.
For my daughter, I purchased the DaVinci Charlie 4 in 1 crib, and a few months later, I purchased this toddler conversion rail to have on hand in case it came time to change her bed. My daughter is almost two years old, and I'm spending the weekend putting this toddler rail to the test. An Allen wrench and four rail screws were included in the toddler rail conversion kit. After removing the crib rail, I discovered that the holes on the crib's side pieces did not match the holes on the toddler rail. As a result, I can only use one screw on each side, which causes the toddler rail to tilt when my daughter sits on it. I'm not a fan of the gap at the bottom of the rail (shown). From the crib rail, you can see the holes, which I don't like. The rail isn't long enough to keep a toddler from rolling out of bed, in my opinion. This toddler rail does not appeal to me in the least. Unfortunately, I'm past the return period; otherwise, I'd exchange it and save up for a toddler bed.
When my son was 18 months old, he began to try to get out of his crib, this was exactly what we needed. It has a nice appearance and can be attached to the crib's two ends. It also keeps him in his crib, despite the fact that he moves a lot! The only issue I have with it is the price; I paid $175 for a new crib on Amazon, and this cost $80. I'm not sure how that makes sense because this is only about a sixth of the materials, but I needed it and didn't want to buy a new bed, so here I am. However, for the same price as this, you can get an entire toddler bed.
I'm not sure why these are so expensive and why they aren't included with the convertible crib when you purchase it. Because the company said it was no longer available, I had to purchase mine here.
He was so used to laying down that he never attempted to get out of it. We also wanted to keep the crib in case we had a second child, so instead of storing it, we bought this and will eventually upgrade to a different bed. It's adorable and useful. If it had been the $70-dollar bill, it would have been a different story. I would have simply purchased a toddler bed if I had been 80 years old. So it was a good deal.
This is what we got for our slate Autumn Crib. I (inadvertently) ordered the gray, but the color difference didn't bother me. The gray, on the other hand, looked out of place on the slate. When you go to the manufacturer's website, you'll notice that they list the cribs that each color fits, and for some reason, these aren't the same. It's a little ridiculous, but hey, what can you do?.
