It comes with a non-slip mat and a dashboard holder, and you can lift the screen to keep an eye on the baby and lay it down when not in use. The camera is mounted on the middle seat's headrest.
It won't let you zoom in, but it will let you move it around. We've been using it for my grandson, and I can clearly see him through the camera.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to respond. On the center console, there is a display screen.br>Best wishes
To keep mine from moving, I used adhesive. They are available for purchase on Amazon. You can use the same wall adhesive you'd use to hang a canvas or, since I had some on hand, I used pop socket adhesive.

During the day, this camera is my favorite. It makes me feel a lot better to be able to see my son while driving, but my night vision is terrible. My son always appears to be a large white blob, and I am unable to see him clearly. If the night vision worked better, this camera would be perfect.
That is precisely what I was looking for! It's a lot better than a mirror in terms of functionality. br>br>12/19/20 - Revised br>br> The camera has broken down. This camera will not last long enough if you are looking for a long-lasting camera. We bought it on October 16th, 20.
So far, I would strongly recommend it. There are no issues.
It seemed to work well at first. The night vision impressed me as well. br>However, the structure appears to be flimsy. When you press the release button, a mechanism lifts the screen from its folded position. After three months of very light use, this mechanism has failed. The screen is no longer able to be flipped up for viewing. I have to pry it up every time or leave it up in the sun to be damaged.
The image is clear enough for me to see how my son is doing in the back seat, whether he is sleeping or looking around, happy or sad, bored or chewing on something, smiling or not. In the dark, I can see him, though things are a little grainier (darker = grainier). The wires were long enough to pass through a Ford Fusion (I had about 4 feet of wire left over). It's well worth the money, and the view is far superior to those mirrors. It also has a stronger hold than the mirrors - Since installing it about 7 weeks ago, I haven't had to make any adjustments. There's also a small adjustable screw that lets you adjust the camera's angle so you can see exactly what you want to see - I haven't had to tighten it since it was installed. br>* The only thing I don't like about it is mounting it. My Ford Fusion's dash was too rough for the rubber pad that came with it. After that, I experimented with velcro. For a while, this worked, but in the heat/sunlight, it stopped working. Following that, I'll try "3M 4905/CLR055 Scotch 4905 VHB Tape: 3M 4905/CLR055 Scotch 4905 VHB Tape: 3M 4905/CLR055 Scotch 4905 VHB Tap Clear 1/2" x 15 ft.
This, in my opinion, is a better solution than relay mirrors, which can reflect light into the face of a child. In addition, it eliminates the need for a turn. The cables (yes, you connect cables from the camera to the display) are long enough and have a thick enough coating to allow for convenient routing beneath floor mats. br>br>It's a little untidy as it climbs the dash, but adhesive wire-mounts can be purchased to make it more aesthetically pleasing. You've already got a car seat, so a couple of cables won't stop you, right?.
This was about the same price, and it was by far the best decision I could have made. The image is clear, it doesn't move, and I don't have to keep looking back and squinting at a mirror that is already difficult to see.
Both rear-facing infant and convertible carseats are too far away. I would have returned it if he had been born before the return window closed. I'm very disappointed that it didn't work out.
