Questions & Answers

The sheeting looks pretty sturdy, but how sturdy is it? What happens if a dog or cat paws at the sheet with any insistence? Could it tear and puncture the sheet?

I really like the durability of the banister plastic. Despite the numerous items that my kids have banged against it, there is not even a dent. There was a great deal of difficulty puncturing a hole for the string to go through when trying to tie it on. It is very unlikely that it would tear if it was grabbed by a cat or dog. This is our first experience with one in person, and we are very pleased with it.

On one of the pages of this advertisement, the sheet is described as 3 feet wide. In addition to that, the other 33 inches will be (36 inches). Could someone please check the width for me?

Approximately 33 inches by 15 feet was what we received. A 36-inch sofa is NOT a sofa of

How can this be screwed to a wood post?

I asked my husband if we could buy it, and he answered yes, as it comes with a hole punch and tie wraps to make holes along the edge. It can be attached with a screw, but only through a piece of This is just a sheet of thick plastic mylar, in clear.

Could you please tell me how to flatten or uncurl this document. Can you help me? I need it flat, but the roll it was in was too rounded. ?

You will see the plastic flatten out as you attach it to the banister.

An almost invisible solution at an affordable price! When we bought our house, I did not realize that the banister between the rails in the upstairs was no longer to code
5/5

Upon moving into the house, I quickly realized my daughter could fit her entire body between the pillows! Even with a gate set up at the top of the stairs, it is such a frightening thought to leave her alone in the hallway. The netting on top of them could be covered with fabric if my parents suggested it. Despite looking horrible, it would accomplish what it was meant to. Prior to purchasing materials, I decided to do a quick Google search to see how others got around the issue, and stumbled upon this product. I decided to give it a shot because it had good reviews. It was not so bad of a loss if it didn't work out, and it was only around twenty bucks. This is really great stuff, so I'm glad I tried is almost invisible from the ground when looking up when seated on the first floor. Without the brown zip ties I would have taken the time to purchase separately instead of using the white ones included, no one would ever know it's there except the person During the process of installing the plastic, I read reviews from others. The punch sounded too dangerous, so I heeded their advice and did not try it. One of the best ways to use a 1/8 drill bit is to use it. As for me, I was going to try and install this without any help and was a little apprehensive after reading what others said. While I do agree that it would be easier with help, you can do it on your own! As I did things differently, here is what I did instead of following the enclosed instructions ***** - If you have plastic, you should cut it to length after measuring it. It was not me who did it. In my first photo, you can see that I measured before buying to ensure it was long enough, but I needed the plastic to remain in the roll so I could use the roll to hold the side that was unattached up as I installed it. The *br- The side that would be attached to the wall was the first side I worked on. In my case, I decide to leave the extra plastic on the table and proceed to add the screws in the future. After drilling holes and putting up zip ties, I marked where the holes were to be drilled. The directions stated to mark where the holes were to be drilled. did not drill with the plastic against the rail and attached the tie immediately thereafter, then drilled with the plastic against the rail. In total, it took me about an hour to do it by myself. The only thing I'd change is to buy zip ties that match the color of the rail and to skip the cheap plastic washers and to use metal ones instead. Due to the fact that the project is already done, I am not going to go back and change it. Only thing I dislike about the product so far is that the sound it makes when you bang on it is a bit loud. I'm sure my kids love that and hit it when they are walking away from the house.

We have only had it up for a week or so. My opinion may change as time goes on. I will edit my review as needed.

The cat will love it! Great product! We installed it on our third floor balcony patio and it's very hard to tell it's there at all
5/5

Having my cats outside is easier now that I don't have to worry that they'll It would be best if you unrolled it and only cut the end of the plastic when you reached it. The zip ties are abundant but few screws are included. Plan ahead or prepare your own screws, if you have them. hole punch provided by the box is only useful for making holes close to the plastic edge, so we used it only for the top of the plastic, using a power drill instead for There's only one downside is that it can be a bit noisy in the wind, but other than that, it's ideal!.

Nevertheless, I finally put in the time to make and install a frame to cover shelving that my 9 month old loves like a moth to a The advertised width of 36" is actually 33", however
3/5

So, I ordered that since I needed at least 36 inches As described, the item is 3' wide, but an answer to a question stated the roll is 36" wide. The item arrived on time and was well packaged, but I had to make a frame to cover shelving that attracts my 9 month old child like candy. As I find out later, the roll is only 33" wide and will not cover the opening in the wall. Due to the fact that I pulled out all my tools and was starting to make a cover, I am extremely upset. We are so tired running after her that we cannot even think about that. As a result, I now either have to return it and spend $100+ on plexiglass or make a bunch of horizontal seams to cover the opening and make it look ugly. It's a mess and I have no solution due to incorrect information, so I'm not happy.

This solution is perfect for cats! Upon moving into my new home, I had trouble coming up with an idea for keeping my two cats out of the living room
5/5

My new furniture is in a room that is connected by a stairway, so it is hard to protect them. In addition to my two tall gates at the doorways, this plastic is the perfect solution. As long as you have a few helpers and a drill, it is easy to install. You are best off avoiding the hole punch, as it is useless. It was easy to attach the plastic securely with the drill. To get the right angles on the edges, I had to roll it out and cut it at the correct angle. During the measuring and cutting process, I used small bricks to lay it out. In fact, I used this plastic on my gates, as my cat was able to fit It has been up for over 6 months and I have yet to encounter any problems.

The aesthetic must not be compromised for function
5/5

Where else can you get this size roll of plastic for $40? I understand it feels wrong to spend $40 on a sheet of plastic and zip ties, but where else can you find it? Holing through the plastic with the hole punch was not easy, but poking the screwdriver through it was no problem. As my mother helped hold the roll while I attached it to our banister, it took me about ten minutes to install it. This means that my baby is safe and I have not ruined the look of my house!.

Just a little. . A plastic material. Do not do it. Just do not do it. Within 30 seconds of trying to install this monster, I opened the package and gave it a shot. I stopped when I realized this was created by a crazy person. I am not impressed with the hole puncher and I look down on the plastic. Just some plastic guys. Just some plastic on a roll. Rather than keeping your kid safe, your kid will cut himself on the plastic edge when he plays with it. It's just a big clump of plastic, didn't I mention that?.

I don't worry about my children who are 4 and 6 years old (too much) when they are on this program
4/5

In a recent acquisition, we bought a house that had an upper level catacomb Both sides of the walk are spindles. I don't worry about my children who are 4 and 6 years old (too much) when they are on this program. While my 2-year-old was holding on to the sides, he gave me heart palpitations each time he leaned close to them. Near the wall, where there was a largest gap, there were several small gaps. It has been two days since we installed this banister guard. I am already feeling I had a reasonable amount of trouble putting it My husband had to help me start each side of the product (we ordered two sheets) but then he was able to put everything up independently. The hole punch was not necessary. Instead of drilling through the product, my husband drilled into it. retrospect, we should have bought brown or black zip ties instead of white (this product comes with white) to make the project look better. The oak finish of the spindles will match the drawer pulls, but I will give up a bit of security for vanity.
