I was looking for a non-sheer canopy for my daughter's room and came across this, which I was very pleased with when it arrived. I bought it in the middle of a move and misplaced the hardware that was supposed to hold it up. My husband was able to make it work with the help of a wire hanger and electrical tape. The majority of the wrinkles disappeared shortly after it was hung up.
Hanging and putting together this piece is a breeze. To get rid of wrinkles, I threw them in the dryer.
The bed canopy is very simple. I was hoping to avoid drilling holes in my ceiling by simply using the 3M sticky pad that came with it, but after only 5 minutes of hanging with only the 3M sticky pad, it came crashing down. In order to keep it from falling again, I had to use the ceiling anchors and screws that came with the kit.
The shade of blue in the canopy is stunning. It is precisely as depicted in the image. I do wish it was a little wider and didn't hug my toddler's bed so tightly. The sticker is of poor quality on both sides. It came crashing down from the ceiling a few days later, startling my toddler. I would advise against using the adhesive option. If you don't want it to fall off the ceiling, make sure you screw it on instead. Thankfully, my toddler is awake enough to have called our attention to the fact that it had fallen.
The color and fabric were both exactly as described and look fantastic. Using the adhesive to hang this is not a good idea. We hung the canopy three days ago, and it has since collapsed. It was good to know because this was a pre-baby run. Be aware that the adhesive came off completely.
It appears to be exactly as shown in the photo. This item is a favorite of my granddaughter's. This is an excellent product.
This is for my daughter's room, and I ordered it. The grey color is off, the material feels cheap, and it arrived wrinkled; I was able to steam out the majority of the wrinkles, but it was still very wrinkled. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to look, but for $40, I expected something better: (I, too, despise the way the top appears on the ceiling!).
It's so adorable! My 8-year-old daughter, who shares a room with a sibling, requested a canopy that wasn't completely sheer to help block out some of the light from her sibling's nightlights. The conclusion is that it is extremely effective!.
