It's angled backwards, towards the front of the toilet rather than the child, and it snaps onto the top of the potty seat, leaving a small gap between the guard and the toilet seat, even with the child's weight. Pee hits the splash guard, exits through the gap, and runs down the front of the toilet every time my son uses it. When I try to push the seat back so that the guard is above the toilet opening, the back hinge opens and pinches me. I was hoping this would work, but I don't want to clean up pee every time my son uses the restroom. It would be ideal if the guard was angled towards the child, had a lip on the bottom, and snapped in the front, or was made of rubber like other foldable potty seats. br>br>The seat does stay in place, which is convenient, and I've had no pinching issues. It folds up small, and the drawstring bag keeps it from getting mixed up with other items in a diaper bag. I was hoping this would work, and maybe it will when my son gets older and learns to lean forward, but for now, I need a splash guard that will actually work with a young trainer.
I've used it on every toilet seat I've ever seen. The only issue I have with it is that the seat guard is difficult to put on and remove, and you can't fully fold the seat while it is connected to the seat.
I bought this for a little girl I babysit, and it's great for going to the store or anywhere else. It's simple for her to sit and go potty by herself. I also purchased toilet paper liners so she wouldn't have to use the store restrooms. The best part is that it folds up and fits back into the carry bag that came with it, so you can put it in your diaper bag or purse. I've been a happy customer for quite some time now. 😍.
Not for boys under the age of twelve! I truly believed I had struck gold when I discovered this, but as soon as I tried to use it, I realized it was a complete failure. The cup keeps falling off and isn't even close to covering his peepee, allowing him to pee directly on the floor. The seat itself is excellent; it folds up, fits in a diaper bag, and is simple to use; however, the guard is ineffective. This would be great for a girl potty training without the guard, but it's a flop for small boys.
This wouldn't be so bad if the toilet seat wasn't so small. This means it'll barely fit on the toilet and your child will be dangling precariously over the water, while the "anti-bacterial" version will keep your child safe. Pee slides beneath the splash guard contraption that doesn't fit snugly, as the "slip" guards slide all over the toilet. This whole situation is a shambles. I'm not sure how this product got such good reviews, but you'd be better off spending an extra $10 on a quality guard that you can use with your child safely and soundly.
This is what I bought for when my son needs to use the restroom while on the go. It's well-made, adorable, and includes a pouch. Easy to pack in a diaper bag because it is so simple.
This is unquestionably beneficial to potty-trained boys. This is something we bought for our two-year-old son. This is primarily used for field trips. It's something we've been using recently. Road trip of 14 hours. My cup, which is very important for a boy because it prevents urine from going everywhere, has already popped and is weak in the insert portion. We used this item at home a few times and found it to be very user-friendly! She is capable of doing it on her own and enjoys it! It's very easy to travel with and keep clean thanks to the travel case. After using it in a public place, I would spray it with lysol (drop the seat into the bag and spray the entire interior when I got home) or wipe it (I still carry wipes, either baby, clorox, or hand wipes) while I was there. However, I'm not a fan of how sturdy it is. When she sits on it, I notice it move, and I'm concerned that it will break after a long period of use. It appears pliable in the sense that it may move but not break, but I'm afraid to test it. I'm still debating whether I should keep it because we won't be using it for long, or return it and try something else.
