If you're using it for the Oxo Tot 2, make sure to follow the instructions carefully. 1 Potty, and only this one; the Potette bags will not fit the Oxo 2- 1 Go to the bathroom and take a seat on the toilet. I found out the hard way when I made the mistake of purchasing the incorrect bags.
Potette liners are less bulky and feature amusing characters on the absorbent pad. I've been using them for years and have never had a problem. If something isn't broken, don't fix it.
It certainly ought to. It appears to be identical to the one I brought with me. The bags are thicker and have a thick liner on the inside to absorb liquids, similar to a grocery plastic bag. I simply fold the bag over the toilet seat. I don't bother putting it in the potty's holes because the bag stays in place.
So it's ready to go, I keep one bag on the potty in my travel bag. I also stuffed it with extra potty bags and wipes. I keep it under my driver's seat and have used packing tape to repair the travel bag, but I've never had a problem with holes in the potty bags.

It's the same with the do-it-yourself version. I keep both of them on hand. I like the heavy plastic for roadtrip pit stops where there isn't a trashcan for miles. You can use grocery bags with NO HOLES and a napkin in place of the regular ones. If you can, get a heavier plastic bag from Target or sprouts, but be prepared for a stench. If you need to store it for a while, get a travel lysol, baking soda, or febreeze; I keep both the oxo tot refills and the DIY version in my small travel stash. We've had a lot of success with these. We try to have a bag ready in the bathroom (seat folded or in the back of the car) because time is of the essence. In fact, the majority of the time, seconds matter.
This is the third time I've bought this bag.

The only reason I deducted one star is because it irritates me that there is no option to purchase these in larger quantities, which is inconvenient when you intend to use them for years. I don't have anything negative to say about anything else. The bags are of the highest quality, EXCELLENT. The largest waste disposal facility Without a single worry, the largest pee can be poured into these at the same time. They also appear to contain odor because when closed, they don't stink. You can swing it around and throw it 10 feet to the trash can without fear of breaking it. I haven't tried it yet, but that is how high the quality is. There is absolutely no risk of information leakage. br>br>The entire OXO portable 2-in-1 system is br>br> One system is a gift from God! It is the only thing I take with me when I leave the house. I can't think of a single place where I haven't used it. Even if it's only for a few months, I'm all about taking advantage of anything that can help or make my life easier. This system will last for YEARS, making it even more worthwhile. I'm grateful to be alive in these times, with all of these possibilities.
The standard of the product has slipped. We used to get these bags from Toys R Us, but since they've gone out of business, we've had to order them from Amazon. They used to make these bags thick so that leaks were never an issue. However, the ones we bought from Amazon are extremely thin, even thinner than the grocery store bags we bought in California. These bags rip easily, making cleanup a chore. We've bought these bags before, but now we're going to try something different. For the poor quality, it is far too expensive.
Since purchasing this potty a year ago, I've purchased five refill bags. This most recent batch of bags is unlike any I've previously purchased. I can't say whether they're better or worse, but they do have a different texture. They're slightly thinner and a tad bit smaller, allowing them to fit around the potty more snugly. I had a few leaks with the originals, so perhaps they fixed it. Aside from that, I adore this toilet and use it on a daily basis. I work outside, and my daughter comes to work with me every day, and she spends the entire day here. I adore this setup because it eliminates the need to clean a toilet and allows me to simply dispose of the bags.
This thing is incredible! Because we live in the country, we are frequently separated from our family. We have a three-year-old who is adamant about learning to make pottery and a one-year-old who is still learning. When we aren't near a bathroom or the one-year-old is sleeping in the car, the toddler will frequently "need to go. " So we just break it out and it's no big deal. It's so anticlimactic that the toddler's ability to say she needs to go just to Power play with me is severely limited. It's also convenient in general because taking both of my daughters to a public restroom is difficult, so I prefer to have her use it first. Fit in a medium wet/dry bag from Planet Wise, which also has a pocket for the bags. When we visit our grandparents, we also bring it in to use as a toilet seat cover. It's ideal for us.
I'm aware that this toilet can be filled with ordinary grocery store bags. It'll save you a lot of money. However, less expensive does not always imply superior. Bags from the grocery store leak everywhere. You'll end up putting a diaper or something in them to catch the pee anyway, so you'll end up spending the same amount of money in the end. These are high-quality bags. This is my second order of bags, and I have yet to experience a leak. The absorbent pad is useful, but if your child is a heavy wetter like mine, it won't be able to absorb all of the pee. That's fine, because the bag isn't leaking! I tell everyone I know with small children about this potty system. People frequently come to me for potty-training advice because I have three children. I always tell them to get the OXO potty and bags as soon as possible after they start training. Especially if their children are afraid of using a large toilet. These are a must-have for any on-the-go situation. the- Train yourself to use the toilet. We bring our potty and bags with us wherever we go. We even used it in a cave once-- When you have to carry them back to civilization, those non-leak bags come in handy. That's all I have to say on the subject. If you don't have an OXO potty, these bags will fit on the poteet plus-size. They're a little large for the poteet, but they'll do.
These bags are fantastic, and they are a must-have for us when we travel. When your child tells you that they need to go potty, you look for the nearest available restroom and assume that you'll need to shower once you're done. That nightmare will be a thing of the past with these bags and potty! br>br>In order to keep everything contained, these bags have an absorbent liner in the bottom. Because the plastic is a little thicker than a grocery bag, it will keep the odors contained. I've seen people use grocery bags with napkins, but I wouldn't risk it unless it was absolutely necessary. You never know if those bags have holes in them, and I don't want to end up with a mess in my car (especially if I'm driving for several hours). br>br>Both the potty and these bags have been excellent, and I would highly recommend them!.
