Summer potty training toilet isn't what it used to be! I bought the same Summer toilet from Target, and when I called the manufacturer to compare the two serial numbers, they said the one from Amazon was not genuine! The one from Amazon arrived in a brown box, while the one from Target arrived in an authentic green/white box from Summer. br>br>The one from Amazon was slightly off white in color, and the bottom part of the potty toilet from Amazon did not snap into place, making the whole thing wobbly and unstable, whereas the one from Target snapped into place just fine with no issues. br>br>This is not an attempt to bash the seller, but to make buyers aware of this faulty and inauthentic product, which they are selling as an authentic Summer potty training toile.
The first time he peed in it, he was so excited that he lifted up the collection bowl, spilling pee all over the floor. The potty is also extremely light and portable, allowing my tiny hulk toddler to carry it up his climber and fling it across the living room. I think the potty is cute, but it needs stronger snaps or locking mechanisms to keep it together so that a toddler can't easily dismantle it, as well as a little more weight.
We tried training our child on the toilet at home and on a potty trainer that didn't look like a toilet, but we weren't having any luck. After reading potty training suggestions, I came across one that stated that using a small toddler toilet gives them the feeling of being big and doing things like mommy or daddy. br>Well, let me say that the same day it arrived, he peed four times without prompting and flushed, which I love. We're off to a good start, thanks to the dog pads I used to absorb moisture for faster cleaning: ) I like the design and the fact that the toilet ring can be removed. Thank you very much.
I'm giving it one star because it's not very good. To be honest, the flushing sound is cool, and my daughter enjoys it, but the assembly isn't very sturdy. The plastic "interlocks" are easy to put together, but they come apart so easily when not in use. I was let down. I'd pay ten dollars again, but not thirty. Look for something else.
I'm glad I took the chance! He was finally ready after another epic trip to Target for underwear, which he placed next to the "grown up potty. " He had the potty training game under control in a matter of days! He adores the flushing noises and the small shelf where he can store his "big boy wipes. " It's also simple to clean and maintain, which is a big plus for moms! This is unquestionably a fantastic purchase!.
My son was initially ecstatic, but that quickly faded when he sat down and complained that it hurt and that he couldn't sit on it any longer. If the seat had some cushioning, I think this would be a fantastic product. I didn't want to buy a new potty just because the seat was too hard, so I made do by taping socks to the seat as a cushion. Now he'll sit on it and say it doesn't hurt, but the problem is that cleaning it will be much more difficult. I'm hoping there's no pee on the seat this time.
He will scream at any of the three potties I have, as well as the potty seat cover for the toilet. He sat right down on it as soon as I took it out of the box and put it together (which was very simple). I like that it has a book shelf because he likes books and now he can read them while using the toilet. He also appreciates the fact that it has a handle that sounds like a toilet flushing when he moves it. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who has a child who has sensory issues.
