Character selection is a major issue. It's either Toy Story's Jessie or Minnie Mouse at the moment. My 2. Jessie dolls are the only ones that a five-year-old is interested in. If we only have Minnie Mouses left and she doesn't get her "cowgirl diaper," she throws a tantrum. If the child has a choice, the parents should have a choice as well. It's a constant battle to distract or trick her into Minnie Mouses, and I'm pretty tired of it. Could we please make them all a tad less interesting? Or at the very least, give us the option of selecting a full pack with one character? Why does diapering have to be a brand-new way to make life difficult for parents?.
When it comes to potty training, these pull-ups have a place. My daughter has gone through phases of disliking them and removing them because the velcro can be scratchy if they get out of place. They let them know when they're wet, but we don't use them overnight because they disrupt sleep. Instead, we use Pampers pull-ups. For overnight and travel, you'll need a set of ups. Our daughter has a developmental disability and a language delay, so she doesn't always let us know when she needs to go to the bathroom or the car. They're a good product; the velcro is a great idea, but it's not practical for us; however, it's likely to be for most people. br>br>For all of my Amazon shopping, I rely on real user reviews. These are by far my favorite pair of workout pants out of all the ones we've tried. Pampers Pull-Ups come in second, but I prefer the Pull-Ups. Ups. After Amazon Mom's discount, they're around 0. 30 cents per pack, a few cents more than Pampers. When compared side by side, protection appears to be comparable. My toddler hasn't had any leaking accidents while using either of these brands, so fingers crossed. This was not the case with any of the store-brand products. The material make-up was also a major pet peeve of mine when it came to store brands. Apart from being less soft, store brands did not appear to be made as well and were more easily torn apart. The side tabs are a plus. The side tabs can be opened if I need to lie down my child. If they need to be resealed for any reason, they are simple to reseal and I don't have to worry about the seal coming apart, which is the only advantage they have over Pampers. Huggies also run true to size; when I first saw the size range on the box, I was concerned that 2t/3t wouldn't be enough, but I was pleasantly surprised. She could stay in this size for a longer period of time than she could in 2t/3t underwear. About a month before I had to move up sizes in Pull-Ups, we switched to size 4 panties. Ups. Overall, until Pampers develops a training pant with tabs to open and close, we'll be using Huggies until we've finished potty training.
My daughter is 18 months old and weighs 28 pounds, putting her in the 99th percentile for both height and weight. I had to switch her to these because she was leaking out of her size 6. I purchased a sample pack to test out. The size difference between these and the size 6 is almost imperceptible to me. br>br>They're very narrow in the back and come up very short on her waist; I also don't like how wide the side tabs are; they dig into her legs a little. The Velcro design on the sides is my final gripe. The velcro on regular diapers is on the back tab, which goes over the front tab. The Velcro on these is on the front tab, which is an adjustment and, in my opinion, not as easy to change as the Velcro on the back tab. br>br>I purchased a 3T-model. At a local store, I found a 4T size that fits me much better than a 2T-size. If your child is too big for the 6's, I recommend switching to the 3t-size. 4t size. br>br>I'm trying to get through the rest of the pack because it's not worth the effort to return it.
Traditional disposable pull-ups do not appeal to me. I believe that pull-ups are a crutch, and that you would be better off simply putting your children in regular underwear and allowing them to have accidents. Having said that, I know a lot of parents and daycares who use methods like these to keep the chaos under control. We only used these at daycare for my daughter, and I believe they caused more harm than good. It was extremely difficult for her to pull them up and down on her own. They also don't let her "feel" wet at first, so she doesn't know when she's had an accident. br>br>We switched to Pampers Easy ups, which didn't contain the mess as well but allowed her to pull herself up and down. I wanted her to be able to use the potty independently and not need assistance all of the time. Because she is obsessed with Minnie Mouse, she adored the characters on these.
The designs are lovely, and the diapers are well-made, but the sizing is woefully inadequate. My daughter is two years and two months old, and the 2t-size is far too small for her. She was only able to fit into a size 3t. She's smack dab in the middle of the growth curve. I'm let down. We cut the box to color the designs printed inside the box, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to return it. On the inside, there was a Minnie and Dock Mcstuffin coloring poster.
We've been using Pampers since my baby was born: Initially, swaddlers were used, followed by cruisers. They don't cause any issues. As it became more difficult to put them on, I decided to try "pampers easy ups," but after reading the reviews, I went with "huggies pull ups. " Ugh- ogh. The presence of a strong chemical odor was the first red flag. My baby's private parts broke out in a red rash after a few days of wearing them. My baby turned red everywhere he saw huggies "hugging. " It was a waste of money.
