We have another one for our younger son of the same brand. As our internet is not very good, it was crucial.

The camera doesn't pan the room (which we knew previously. )
The VOX setting changes from very sensitive to not at all sensitive. It is not as good as our old monitor, which we were disappointed with. My husband is woken up at the sight of that brightness, so I have to lay it face down.

I have had it for a few months now and I am very pleased with it. In order for me to work and do chores around the house while keeping an eye on my mother, who is disabled, I made the purchase. The monitor display is slightly smaller than I anticipated, but it is still functional. A great battery life. VOX is ideal for our needs and I really enjoy using it. I only thought they all had the same temperature, and I thought they all did. It would have likely been a pass on this model if I had read more closely and seen it did not display the room temperature. Although it's only able to do a few things, it seems to perform well.
