Is there a need for an extra mattress and cover for the crib?

If you plan to use a bassinet for your baby, I suggest you get a nice plush blanket to use on top of it too, because the mats for the bassinet are too stiff for your baby's delicate skin, causing the baby to be uncomfortable. This is a nice size bassinet that will fit a growing newborn. It's great that we have room in the bassinets for my twin boys who are almost six months old and weigh 15 lbs each. The only thing they need is a soft blanket for extra comfort. Overall I like these bassinets since their nice and sturdy and you can either have them next to your bed while your sleeping or in their own room with your baby monitors, depending on how young and how they sleep. Despite its weight, it does not tilt in any way

There are two important things about this picture it's big and it doesn't tilt. All of the bassinets (expensive models) I tried began to tilt within a week and became unsafe for my child. With my bassinet, it's impossible to knock the blanket off since there are two iron bars under it and a floor support built into the It's such a great experience.

The set up is easy and sturdy

The backpack has an easy assembly process and is the perfect size to take on the road. We wouldn't recommend it for a child that can stand up on their own since it has low sides, which could cause them to fall out. Under the mat there are support bars which are a great addition. Overall, this mat feels very strong and is very sturdy.
